Often times while I’m listening to someone, I tried to make eye contact and I lose focus on what they’re saying, because my mind wanders to other things. If I look away from them, I listen and retain the information much better.

I have listened to many of Reagans speeches. I remember listening to many at the time they were made . He often catches emotions of those who listen . Often with a line from a poem as he does here or with a quotation. He quotes quite a few times something said by Churchill . Something other successful or great speekers do .
