Fradley Junction to Tixall Wide - part 2.

- In this video we cruise from Fradley Junction to Tixall Wide & what an absolutely beautiful place it is. We had seen it many times on other vlogs & let me tell you; it doesn't disappoint. (part 1 was Hopwas to Fradley Junction - link below)
Along the way I have to remove what seemed like a car mat & some ladies stockings from the weed hatch - which is quite fitting really as I used to sell tights & stockings.

What a great video today! Some of those buildings are really beautiful even in poor condition.. the view is amazing and I’m glad that you have had some great weather. I live in the states so don't really have a dog in this fight so to speak but, isn't the purpose of HS2 or any railway these days, mainly to reduce the number of cars on the road to help reduce congestion and pollutants as well as shorten the travel times? I don't know if there are congestion issues along the proposed route so maybe it is a waste but, I'd go as far as to say there isn't a government project in existence that hasn't' wasted at least some money...lol.
@@rogerr1296 Thing is Roger many trains that run between where the hs2 route was proposed to be are not at capacity most of the time, in fact far from it. What was really needed on our railways is better links between towns & cities east / west & not main lines into London which is what hs2 was supposed to be. Unfortunately it’s Westminster thinking again that everything revolves around London which it absolutely doesn’t. 🤷🏻♂️
