- End of International Career for Paola Egonu !? Egonu was filmed in tears, with hers agent, telling him that it was hers last appearance in the selection. Frequently confronted with racism in her country, where she was born in 1998 to two parents who came a few years earlier from Nigeria, the transalpine volleyball star is considered the best player in the world today.
A little later, the player explained to microphone: “I want to take a break for me. I want this jersey but the last few months have been hard with all the insults and messages I have received”.

The way to support is not leaving a comment is to go after FIVB and have them denounce Racism so all the Players can be safe. Every time some one is treat like this by fans or anybody the games should be suspended and no fans. No one deserves this. Some humans are piece of shit and we cant change that. But we cam make the organization to speak out in support of them.

Ese es el punto, que no se rinda y se vaya. Egonu es una de las mejores voleibolistas de estos últimos años y tiene para más. Ella puede seguir con lo que le apasiona e ignorar a los racistas de tribunas, cuesta mucha paciencia pero se obtiene, para dejar a ellos solitos hablando al aire como payasos, Egonu saldría ganando.
