    Haven't watched any of your recent uploads but just wanted to comment to say that your videos are some of the best and most educational openings videos on CZcams. So easy to follow and learn from. Hope the road to GM is going well.

    I gotta say, your videos are absolutely fantastic. They go into these things such as openings in depth and are very methodical and memorable. Ty man

    Been playing chess for ~1/2 year. Was just resigning all 1.d4 games…thought too boring and wanted to just focus on the e4 repertoire. Now building d4 repertoire as black…I’m fascinated by this side of things…the transpositions are incredible…nothing like e4, which is cool in itself.

    As usual very good video
    But I think you miss evaluted the setup with d5 for black in the line you said to be a problem black just plays Ba6 instead of Na6 as you played and black has absolutely no problem and is a pawn up having a queen side majority so I prefer the setup with d5
    Still the d6 setup also seems very solid and Im defenitely looking forward to play it so thank you for the quality of your work, keep it up

  • @superknight-chessplatform4890

    Sielecki's book is very well worth it! I have a copy!! Also, Pedersen's book: 'The Gambit: Guide to the Bogo-Indian' [1998] is well worth having; he gives a quick summary section too!

    I just played this today and won! White had no idea how to respond and played an early a6 and I just overwhelmed them. I owe you a beer!

    the first time i attempted the bogo after being introduced i went with this variation and quickly blundered into a loss. haha this opening is very sharp imo.

    Sir when are you going to update the middle game series ? Can you please make a video on how to undermine the centre for hypermodern openings like pirc kings indian modern etc.

    • @stanleytime9193
      @stanleytime9193 Před 3 lety

      It's difficult to do a video imo because of the difference in all the positions but the main idea is to push e5/c5, striking the centre. Remember to attack the base of the pawn chain

    I personally - just my opinion - these opening videos far less appealing than your training games. Especially where you explained mistakes and thinking process. Those gave me massive value, I learned a lot. I personally find little value in dozens of opening explanations. Just my 2c!!! Thank you.
