Jusko some of the comments are aweful! Same with her other videos! You may or may not follow her recipe. Skip the ingredients that you don't want or find a healthier alternative. Grabe maka-comments. Pinoy nga naman oh lalo na mga boomers. Anyways, I love your videos. ASMR ang style and hygienic ang preparation. Easy to follow lalo na sa mga non-Filipino viewers. Continue promoting Filipino cuisine 💯👏❣️

Looks like naninibago yung iba sa Lemon Soda. Kung pupunta po kayo ng Grocery store (Beverage Section), andun po yung mga Soda Water. It doesn't have to be lemon flavored. You can use the regular Soda Water i.e brands lIke Nature Spring or Schweppes or if gusto mo mas sosyal, buy Perrier or San Pelligrino. LOL! Anyways, the purpose of soda water is to make your batter crispier once cooked.

On the other hand, according to Chef Tatung, it's the cornstarch that makes the okoy crispy, and adding egg to it makes it soft.
