Quick correction - the GTS also has compass and air pressure function. I completely forgot about it as I’ve removed that function from my watch. My sincere apologies for the mistake.

I bought Fossil sport watch it is same price as of amazfit GTS. Amazfit GTS does nothing more than a smart band except bigger display. You can get all these features in a smart band worth only 30$. I dont get the point of buying this watch.. AM I WRONG?

Excellent comparison, I cannot get over how much the AMAZFIT GTS looks exactly like my Willful Activity Tracker Watch 2019 that I actually purchased on Amazon for $35 US. Looking at the thumbnail for a split second I actually thought it was it. I love your channel keep up the great work.

I bought the larger 46mm GT2 which offers twice the battery life of the 42mm version. I bought it last Monday and today is Sunday and it says I have 57% battery left - thats with permanent heart rate monitoring and workouts every day. I am seriously impressed - I was using an Apple Watch and a Huawei Band 3 Pro before. I loved the Huawei band because of the battery life and the sleep tracking but if i turned on heart rate tracking it killed the battery. Now my Apple Watch stays at home and I just wear the GT2 all the time - I dont miss all the apps on the Apple Watch and I find the workout tracking on the GT2 so easy to use. The screen on the GT2 is unbelievably good and so readable.
Is it accurate while tracking steps and calories?
problem is the 46mm is too big for slimmier guys or any girls

As you have both devices at hand - let us know how accurately they measure steps during a day and during a "walking" or "running" workout. Personaly I have Amazift GTR and it tracks steps very well (during a workout it shows we a proper number of steps and average length of a step. Wherease my girlfriends Huawei GT2 42mm is heavily undercounting the steps (by more or les 25-30%) and it show some absurd average step lengths during a workout (97-150cm for a 168cm female!). At the same time both watches quite accurately measure workout distance (ie 2,9km vs 2,95km).
I'm using the xiaomi MI band 4 right now and it looks great to me but I'm so excited to the global version of the MI watch next year ❤️

As I own a Huawei GT2 Smartwatch I have bin getting no more then 5 days battery time, without always on function, with the automatical light setting on (that dimms or brightens the light on smartwatch automatically according to sorrounding light), heart monitoring on, stress monitoring on, and sleep monitoring on,I did no training what so ever that needed GPS on, or listen to music on it, and the messages I am getting are max 30/ day . I also set the screen not to lit on from 22 pm to 07 am.
When I turned off the automatic stress monitoring I haven't got any emprovement on battery life. . .Whish I could get 1 week..can you tell me please what settings did you used to get 7 days of battery life ? I whould love to have that!

My amazfit gts doesnt have those false readings, maybe because its a global version or something.
It tracks my sleep correctly, also heart rate too...

Hey lim. Nice video and I'm a fan of your work. I don't use the Bluetooth feature that much so are you able to turn off the Bluetooth on any of these or it's always on.
Is there a smart watch you recommend that can turn off Bluetooth?
Hello! You can't turn off the BT feature from the watch. However what you can do is disconnect BT on your smartphone to prevent it from connecting to the watch ;)
Can you tell me both of these watch can attend calls but is there any function in these watch that we can receive and hangup calls through these watch.

Just want to ask if with the firmware updates with Amazfit GTS, has it improved the sleep tracking, heart rate monitor, pedometer and the GPS? These are the most common issues i’ve been seeing with amazfit with all the videos I have watched. Also, did you have the chance to try amazfit gts with IOS? Thanks!

Yes you can read long messages thats the speciality of using a square display instead of a round one

Both the same. Huawei’s sleep track is pretty darn accurate. Definitely better than Xiaomi/Amazfit.

The square watch wins. Round watches are a throwback to a mechanical era, a sop to a bygone mechanistic necessity. The square/rectangular format befits an information device. The Huawei watches, like their Samsung Tizen counterparts, have many good aspects, such as battery life. But if you get the most basic design features--such as form factor--wrong, it's so hard to make up for it in other ways. No matter how much I like what I see in the Huawei watches, I can't bring myself to seriously consider them.

Standalone GPS but it's not as accurate as having your phone do the tracking.

Unfortunately, you cannot. You have to pair with an android to change to other watch faces not available on the watch itself then re-pair with the iPhone.

Another reviewer said he only got 3 days of battery life on the amazfit, he said he had the gps on constantly, is that the reason?
Yes GPS needs and uses a lot info to work, that's why the charge lasts pretty short time. Without Gps it's accurate to 12-14 days.

You forgot to mention that the GT2 has a noticeable latency in notifications. It has a 1s delay as compared to an almost instant notif for the GTS.

Himel Hasnat unfortunately there is NO way at the moment to switch languages on the Amazfit watches.

Yes, you will see the notification of WhatsApp but you will not be able to respond, the GT2 of the video is the 42 mm version, in the 46 mm version also you cannot answer messages, but you can answer a call, speak and listen with the watch

hey! There are two versions in the GT2, in the 42 mm version you will not be able to answer the call and talk to the watch, but in the 46 mm version you can. You will be able to answer the call and speak directly with the clock, it has an integrated microphone and speaker.
* If you are talking about message notifications, you cannot reply in both versions.
i have the GTS i love it but some of the facts you stated are wrong . when doing reviews its important to be accurate . you are talking about Brands trying to sell these smartwatches

There is possible error. I have the GTS for one week. Very, very bad. Very good form factor and a very beautiful screen. That's all.
You are right, it's trash. Useless for workout, GPS is not poor, instead is worthless. You must take it off your wrist to get a gps lock on and when it does, you'll have the most bizzare readings I ever see. It's just a pricey and lush mi band. Go with a Huawei GT2 for sure (46mm)

It's actually better than aple and samsung watches in terms of battery life time.
Its Battery life time is 14 days with all features activated. And 20 days if tracking hart rate is deactivated.
