Annie Last's Lapierre XR Special Edition | GMBN Tech Pro Bike Check

Annie Last has been competing at the top level of cross country MTB racing for well over ten years, with career highlights including being 10-time British National Champion, a World Cup winner and competing at multiple Olympic games. For 2023 Annie has joined a new team, Lapierre Mavic Unity. Rich took a trip to the team pits at the Nové Město ‪@uci_mtbworldseries‬ Cross Country World Cup to get the inside line on what she'll be riding this season!

Finishing touches: Annie has a custom paint-job on her bike to mark her winning the 2022 XCC and XCO National Titles. The colour scheme even goes down to the colours of her cables, with different colour accents taken from the GB Team Colours!
Annie will occasionally use a rear tyre insert depending on the severity of the course, but almost never uses a front insert.

Lol racing without a computer would me pre weight saving that without a power meter. I bet she always keeps the computer. Show me a mtb race won by tenths of a second that that 50g could have made a difference.
