My issue with motul 7100 10w 40 in my Apache rtr 200 4v oil keeps evaprating every 1000km of use i have to top-up 100 to 200ml.. even after checking valve still facing same issue so i have to shift to Castrol 10w 30

Recently i bought Apache rtr 160 4v bs4. Now bike is running around 32k km. What are to be done in periodical service. Till now the previous owner using tvs oil. Which is better tvs oil or Motul 7100 10w40? And what other things change in the service? How many km run after change the oil?

We should always go for the recommended grade oil i.e. 10w30 for tvs apache series. The person is saying. It is obvious if you are using 10w40 like motul the viscoscity will be more. Please don't mess with the egine oil grade. Companies have done proper R & D. Everyone wants to become scientist now a days. I have apache and i do use 10w30. 10w40 will lead to low fuel economy due to high viscosity.
Fuel economy topic i already covered in the video and tvs apache series produce more heat on 10w 30 series and you can slight increase or decrease the value os oil which comes after the w because it provides that performance which you need and for your kind information I’m a electrical and mechanical engineer…
