I still use my old snapchat from highschool to message a few friends. Never made any social media accounts though. I couldn't imagine drawing attention to myself online. Good or bad. People who are on it all day seem to be more miserable.

Honestly I think that's not quite right. Twitter is by far one of the smaller social media platforms out of the big ones. It is actually smaller than even Snapchat. Even Pinterest has a number of users close to what Twitter has. I think it's less that everyone is stupid and more that some platforms reward stupidity more.

I have barely used Twitter in my life, and I don't understand why it's so popular. Everyone I know who uses Twitter ends up angrily closing the app after a while. It’s not even a platform for real opinions, any place where you have kids, bots, or anonymous idiots sharing their thoughts is bound to turn into a circus.
It's internet illiteracy, smart people do not use social media for socializing but there's plenty of dumb people that think it's normal. I grew up with the internet so I knew not to talk to anyone online about personal matters but people these days openly let others know every detail of their lives

I have two accounts, one for seiyuu, official anime project accounts plus sfw art and landscape photography, and the other one for nsfw everything, all japanese of course, it doesn't get better than that. Even japanese drama is way better

I deleted Twitter years ago and it honestly helped my mental health so much. It’s literally such a toxic platform that will get you just pissed off and in a bad moon all the time

It is better now because it has 2 tabs for your feed. One is the default "for you" and the other is a "following" page so you only see stuff that people you follow posts. It is nice for gaming information since you can follow devs without seeing any random stuff thrown in

Same is happening here in Australia, and much like our Canadian cousins, we're in a housing (and subsequently homeless) crisis and the govt's allowing in irresponsible amounts of migrants in comparison to our small population.

I had experienced racism, it is just as personal as you let it be, racism is a common thing in LATAM, balkans, asia and basically everywhere outside that bubble of manchilds that gets a mental breakdown by people not using their favorite pronounces.

The only social media I use now are old school forums, imageboards, and discord, and I keep it very personal with my closest friends. Anything outside of it will just cruelly judge me for my hobbies and stuff, so I only use them to promote my art and music, that’s it. Don’t care about views or being liked anymore, just chasing the bag and making cool stuff.

For me, Twitter has always been for hobbies like anime, videogames mostly. As in DarkSouls lore videos, anime fanarts, funny videos, etc. If anyone ever comes at you out of nowhere you just mute or block them.
But yeah, when you are someone big on the internet that 2 or 3 waste of air coming at you transform into hundreds. I bet that's hella taxing.
Especially if you are the type that talks about other content creators. If you attack any sort of creator you are bound to get alot of hate regardless. But yeah that is the best strategy just mute and block. I will say sadly that some of the hobby stuff is infected by people that have 20 mental illnesses on their bio calling people racists for liking a game or calling people predators for liking an anime picture. But other than that yeah just block those people so you don't see that shit.

In my opinion the based move would have been to just stop using Twitter quietly with a hard final post saying "This site isn't worth my time."
Quite frankly, This video was just him complaining about veiled issues, issues that should not exist unless he has been lying about the rest of his behavior. Beyond that it is an admission that he either refuses to or does not want to Taylor his feed. I don't find it very based to stand here and say "mean tweets are morally worse than dark web content" when he has admitted that the reason he slowed down making dark web content was because of how much bad shit was there.
Big non political channels get passes for anything. The guy who runs "I did a thing" literally edited a video to make it look like a guntuber bought cardboard targets of kids to shoot at when it was actually the guy who runs the "I did a thing" channel that bought them.

10:10 Big reason that Canadians dislike Indians is because of our government’s scummy programs, specifically the LMIA. International students and even immigrants have come in droves, disrespected the culture and laws. And when a large group of a specific race begins acting up, our government doesnt get rid of the problem, it tells more to come in.
Most Canadians get along with Indians, on a human to human basis, even I have Indian friends and my sis’ boyfriend is Indian and a good friend of mine, but when you quickly see your whole workplace get literally replaced within a month by a single race who completely change the standards of your workplace, it’s a pretty big problem, especially when there is the communication barriers of language, accents, slangs and mannerisms. You begin to feel alone in your own homeland. It is an immigration crisis that our government supports.
The simple fact is when you are talking about trends in culture and immigration, you have to stop looking at it at an individual level and look at the broader trends of a group. As it stands, they have trends that canada shouldn't take.

I deleted all of my social media like 3 years ago. I don't give a shit about what others are doing and people shouldn't know or give a shit about what I'm doing. Having all of that information crammed down your throat all the time is horrible for the mental. So went from super fat and depressed, to 120 lbs less but still depressed.
