A narcissist stagnates at level -1. They never admit when they're wrong. They don't learn from any of their mistakes. They don't try to be better. So to make the playing field equal for them their goal is to bring others down. Be it family, friends, coworkers, partners, etc. Learn from the experience. Let them go. Keep doing better everyday. The more you do that the better you will be growing away from level -1 and the further you will be away from them. And when you're at level 100+ or even if you're at 0 and they try to come back in to your orbit, just know that they're only there to try to bring you back to level -1 and that's not your level.

I was doing so much better a few days ago when i went no contact ...today i fell hard i opened the phone and read all jis oast messages blaming me for the discard ...i text him saying Thinking of you.....he wrote back rather quickly YES i miss you too Second message he wrote Hello Deborah I didnt write back and all day i felt like shit and statted panicking again and having anxiety i feel i went backwards in just seconds I shut the phone off again
My technique with breached NC was to write a heartfelt first message, then change it to the exact opposite and decide 3 hours later if I wanted to send it or not. Worked wonders, stay strong and stubborn, you’ve got this!
Don't be hard on yourself. I understand your heartbreak. It took me 6 months to go no contact - turns out that I needed that time to find and gather the right information and discover some truths. As painful as it was, that time was a gift. Even though I was still "supplying" him through my suffering, I got the gift of self awareness and clarity as to my situation of being a victim of narcissistic abuse ALL of my life. Then I went No Contact 1000 percent with absolutely no qualms. Today is 3 years discard anniversary, or better yet, self love birthday. My healing road feels long, I'm 53, but at least I am here and inspired to keep on discovering and coming home to my true self. You've got this, I KNOW you do! Keep feeling, keep healing and know there is all the love you need -you will feel it when, as Joe says, you go with the flow. You will get there ❤❤❤❤❤
The concept is simple but the execution is far from. You need to loose all hope before you can start not giving a fuck if you don't know what to believe of your ex and if they've been in your life for a considerable amount of time, then it's very hard to reach this place because it feels like self abandonment and it's even worse when you do it for reasons that aren't actually known. But it very much depends also on the type of upbringing you had and what childhood trauma still exists.
