Wishing you success! Wash hard!
Really like this Kraken 5.5 however, it is just a bit steep for us right now just starting off. Thank you for this video though! I try to catch as many of your videos as I can.
When will they be back in stock? looking to purchase a kraken 5.5
What brand gearbox are you using With the AR pump, AR 1698?
Can that pressure washer draft or pull water like a belt driven ?
What’s the name of that gear box? This way I can buy a spare. Thank you!
The man rite here
Can it feed from a buffer tank?
Would you consider a 5.5gpm enough for commercial jobs?
How much that cost and what does that cost to add a 35 gal tank
That’s slick looking
Thanks man!
Will you ship to Hawaii
I just talked to my local pressure wash guy . Hes a vanguard dealer. And he recommended to me that i change the oil every 25 hrs.I was like what 25 not the 100 it says on the engine . He was like well if you want it to last then thats what you gotta do . I was like man im a washer not a oil changer lol. Id be changing the oil weekly. And lets just say last time i did . It did not turn out well. I made a hell of a mess lol
Yeah, there is a balance between spending so much time taking care of the equipment that I no longer enjoy my life. I will take care of it within reason, and then I will throw it away and buy another one because the point of my business is to be profitable.
I'm trying to buy one
Is the engine already broken in?
Is a residential water spigot and or commercial spigot good for 5.5 gpm. I always thought water spigot usually spits out 4gpm.?
Also I have a van, do you recommend running the pressure washer inside the van? Bolted down in the van?
I also run a van with 2 gx390's amd make sure you install atleast 1flettner roof vent to exahaust all the heat those machines create. It was so hot (and not even in summer) runnimg both of them it cooked my bleach. Temp inside was betweekn 45-55 celcius!!!!!
can it be use with a buffer tank without needing and extra pump?
Yes
What size buffer tank would you recommend with the 5.5?
100 is perfect. Thats the lowest I personally like to go. You can run 50 on a 4gpm ( demo rig ) but 100 gallon buffer for a 5.5gpm unit is good. Throw a hudson on it with a 3/4 feed line and send it to the moon
Nice
When does the site get updated. Interested in the 8.
Very soon
We do have a few of these in stock,
www.southeastsoftwash.com/product/8-gpm-pressure-washer/
Out of stock?
Wouldn't the gear box and pump be one oil change?????
No. 2 separate devices
What is the psi?
He says 3200
Hey coty will it pull from a buffer tank
Yep
OK y’all tell me if I’m going crazy, but I thought belt drive was thumbs up, and anything else was down down😮
Why did you think that?
Did you have a mechanical understanding of what the belt drive was actually doing?

@@southeastsoftwash4020 I know how you roll. Don’t come down on me too hard for answering the question. Number one. from what I understand, direct drive machines can’t pull water out of a tank. Number 2 , belt drive machines are designed for putting more hours on them. Number three. Direct drive machines remind me of some Home Depot crap
@matthewrobinson6297 You're thinking of 1:1 direct drive home owner stuff. He is talking about a 1:2 gear drive reduction box. Huge difference. Commercial belt drives are also 1:2 ratio. Both systems are easy on the components. Belt drives are smooth and quite, but can break or snap if you don't adjust or maintain them. Rather change the oil 4x a year on the gearbox vs having to babysit belts. Even polychain belts can break and cost $$$.
@@matthewrobinson6297a 5.5 will pull from a buffer tank no matter if it's direct drive or belt drive. The direct drive 4gpm machines have a hard time pulling from a buffer tank. Not saying that they won't; however in most cases they are unable to Adequately pull from buffer tank regardless of gravity feed or not. The 5.5 is a fantastic size unit for almost every job just as he states in the video. Pushes surface cleaner very well, doesn't demand as large of a buffer tank that an 8 gpm pump requires. When starting out, I recommend starting with a 5.5 and skipping the 4gpm all together. Save up just a few hundred more $$ and buy a pressure washer that you won't want to upgrade in 6 mos. IMO based solely on personal experiences.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Everything southeast sells is on the high side
Your mom
What are you a goof ball Cody. I was watching this considering buying from you. Forget about it with that corny comment.
@@Mike-vr6xf oh no! Whatever shall I do!
@southeastsoftwash4020 I don't know, bud. You figure that out.
@@Mike-vr6xfthis dude is something else! It blows my mind the way that he talks to people as a business owner. I’d love to figure out a way for us guys with Pressure Washing businesses to collaborate and not give this Napoleon Dynamite red neck another cent!
What size hose do I use on this to wash cars?
You don’t. Get a much smaller unit to wash cars, like a 2.5 gpm or less
@@rikliftsweights6863 I got a 5.5 Gpm on gx390 works great 👍
