It won't be his fault that the Jets have made horrible draft decisions and have incompetent coaches. He's also in his 40s. It's actually fortunate that he didn't get drafted by the Jets because they would have ruined him like they ruined Chad Pennington and Mark Sanchez.

I don't know if blame is the right word here on Rodgers. The Jets got a 39 year old QB last year. He might play well, but that was a big gamble on their part regarding injuries and abilities at that age. It is the same if the Falcons do not do well with Kirk Cousins. It may not be just the QB but the offense fit, the age, etc.

He got more hate because of cheating allegations and the Organization cheating allegations... Rodgers have never groomed by Spy gate like Brady was in his first 8 seasons.
If the Jets doesn’t win the AFC east it will be because of the coaches especially Hackett. The Jets should win the division having a top 5 QB of all time and a great defense they should make a deep playoff run
AROD would have put Jets in the playoffs in 2023. However, what sunk the JETS was the OC. The OC was not able to pivot and help Zach. In addition it was on the HC too on Zach. However it was on Douglas too because they could have had a better backup in case AROD went down. So the real fault was not on Zach...Zach was not given the leadership and help in Year 1, 2 and now he's looked bad. Zach was promised a good TOP QB to learn from and AROD went down so that is why Zach looked bad. Zach will be ok he's young...give him 2 or 3 more years to develop in the right system and right coaches.
As for 2024, if AROD is healthy...the JETS win the AFC. ADD in a good NFL Drsft and the off season trades the JETS will be much better in 2024

Not much. If the Jets don't win the division and/or make the playoffs, the blame should be directly placed on Woody Johnson. To me Robert Saleh should have been fired after last season. Even if Rodgers didn't get hurt, they'd still be an embarrassment to the league! Was it Zach Wilson's fault that he got killed behind the worst O-Line in football. I knew this man was a hack the moment he benched Wilson after the 2nd Patriots game in 2022. I know he sucked that day, but you don't bench your starting QB when you had won 6 straight games leading up to that. It's not a surprise that they didn't win another game that season. Saleh and Nathaniel Hackett are going to hold this team back from its potential. I can't wait for the New York Media to hypothetically burn down the Empire State Building if things go south again.

Spending on old and injury-prone players, not having a competent head coach since Bill Parcells, seem beholden to defensive head coaches when it’s trending for offense, and 1 of the more impatient owners in the league not named Jerry Jones.

Your offensive coordinator only has his game plans tailored around the starting quarterback (and couldn’t cut it for even 1 full season as a head coach for the Broncos), your starting quarterback is 40 and the last good season he had was 3 seasons ago, your one receiver has always missed time with injuries, in spite of what draft capital and cap space has been spent at tight end, they mostly seem irrelevant, your 2nd year center was better at Guard, both your starting tackles are older and 1 with an injury history, while the other allowed 8 sacks (not good since Rodgers can’t scramble like he used to), and a Guard who was just above mediocre.
Throw in an impatient owner, a coach on the hot seat who could be fired if his team is 3-5 on a 3-game losing streak around Thanksgiving, and not enough at certain positions to overcome injuries, while the team could make the playoffs and win the division, this all seems like the history of the Jets for the last 13 seasons.

You can't keep using Aaron Rodger's resume as a way to ignore his fall off and what he is becoming. All of the greats eventually start to fall off whether it be from age or bad rosters. They went from a god awful OL to the senior citizen OTs in 33 year old Morgan Moses and 33 year old Tyron Smith with an injury prone C and RG. The WR room is basically still only Wilson and Williams with Williams recovering from an ACL tear. They have no TEs, no RB depth and 41 year old Rodgers coming off injury
