The offensive mastermind left and Hurts was left with Sirianni. The question this season is will Sirianni allow Kellen Moore to do his job. Or will he override him with plays that caused the collapse last year. With that cloud over the eagles i choose Jordan Love too.

Jalen Hurts takes advantage of how defensive players cant tee off on the quarterback. Hes not super elusive, hes thick. But i dont get how nobody just tees off on the guy. His arm talent is average at best.
Jordan Love has sped up his timing, he can throw it all over the yard. Hes a big dude that can see over the line. Their is no comparison. Best qb in 2020 class, when its all said and done.

Love sat behind Aaron Rodgers for 3 seasons. Hurts was 10-1 last year and was looked at as an MVP until he hit the 10-1 skid. He DOES have issues reading defenses at times and checking down... but he also had the same OC for only 2 years in a row. Love has a coach who won 13+ games 3 years in a row. He has only 1 starting year of NFL tape on him. That being said, GreenBay is set up this year. They approached free agency like Philly. They are taking advantage of a 2nd year starter.. but Love's contract is due soon cuz he was drafted in 2020. GreenBay is building and peaking at the right time. It's not like the wide receivers GreenBay has are bums. They are good young wide receivers. Love also had Aaron Jones and that other thic dude at RB lol a decent o line and scrappy defense. As an Eagles fan, I like Love and have my doubts about Hurts. Recency bias makes me want to pick Love, but that's also cuz the Packers groom their QB's well. Remember, it wasn't like Hurts was a scrub coming out of college. They called him a "project" cuz we still had Wentz at the time. Hurts does have the benefit of having great pieces around him, but it's all about how everyone fits. This one is too close to call.

You know what keep dogging on the Packers. Their play will speak for itself. Jeff Hafley is no joke. The Packers defense will probably be a bit shakey at first since its a whole new scheme. But if you are comparing Love to Hurts its a one year vs experience deal if its just the QBs. Stats from last year goes to Love, did more with a team that doesnt even know its ceiling yet with very little experience goes to Love as well. Green Bay has more variable weapons than the Eagles so much so that it hampers a break out year for any single individual unless you are Josh Jacobs... experience on defense and offense goes to Hurts, proven stars goes to Hurts, playoff experience goes to Hurts, coordinators and staff go to Love. Overall the confidence from last year and learning from past mistakes will determine if Love progresses or slumps.

from a skill standpoint, its easily love imo. Hurts is good, but you need to build a perfect roster around him to make deep runs in the post season where as love was one drive away from knocking off the niners without a legit #1 wr, decent but no elite running backs, and a pretty good but not great defense. He's a legit top 7-9 qb whereas with hurts it feels like outside of saying "hes been to a superbowl", you cant find any other legit reason to why youd take him over love.

If it's only about the next season, then maybe Hurts because he has the better offensive supporting cast. I'm not saying Love's supporting cast is bad, but Hurts has a top O-line (even without Kelce), one of the best WR duos in the NFL, a very good and versatile TE and an absolute stud RB. That's all a QB can ask for, Hurts gets everything handed to him on a silver platter and I expect him to deliver.
But if I were building a new team from the ground up, I'd take Love because I think he's the more talented QB.
