    Da da da da daaaa, it's time to revisit The Incredibles! But this time, I need to clarify an issue that was brought up a lot in a previous video about Edna. Yes, even after the Incredibles 2, I think Edna was in on something darker than we're told.

    My theory is that Syndrome made his own suit. I mean he is an egocentric genius after all. Also as a child he was told his home made super suit was 'ridiculous' and we see that he has an excellent memory as he was able to quote Mr Incredibles statement 'i work alone' word for word when taunting him after supposedly killing his family. I think Syndrome would have remembered the reducul he received for his early attempt at a costume, and taken it upon himself to make his 'official' costume both by hand and spectacular -as a come back to everyone who mocked or doubted him .

    Sounds like a credible theory. I could see Syndrome adding the cape or the designer not having Edna's code. Evelyn (Incredibles 2) hates supers so who says she didn't refer Syndrome to this designer who clearly enjoys working with darker colors? Syndrome did have investors so we can take guesses as to who they might have been.

    • @TheFangirlWatches
      @TheFangirlWatches  Před 5 lety +1

      "A credible theory," I see what you did there! lol
      But, I kept waiting for Winston and Evelyn to be connected to Syndrome, and to hear something about them getting the Underminer on the surface (since they just happened to be ready and waiting near the attack location). Sadly, the movie seemed to have cut a lot, or rearranged things later in the production process that made it feel awkward in some places. Like, the whole thing with Winston's parents, I kept waiting for some sinister reveal there, and then the Lego set shows Winston as the Tech Slaver, so it's all a little off...

      @@TheFangirlWatches I believe Brad Bird has issues with deep interconnecting storylines. I think Pete Docter who did Monsters Inc is much better at connecting dots to multiple eventualities and situations. Which I think might be one of the reasons why Monster's University prequel was done instead of a Monsters Inc sequel. To add to the lore and give new perspectives. I think Brad is very in the now (so Edna, LOL). Opinions of course but I could be right!

    • @TheFangirlWatches
      @TheFangirlWatches  Před 5 lety

      I thought Batman had a cape and a cowl. Isn't the cowl just the head piece? And Jasmine just got thrown in there because I searched for imaged with "awesome capes" and that showed up like that (and I love Jasmine and am slightly mourning not getting her limited edition doll last month, so she stayed in the video, lol).
      I think I will talk about SOUE after the series wraps next year. Anything I post will be so short lived that I might as well just wait.

      @@TheFangirlWatches Well Batman is capable of being prepared for anything and not get himself be trapped in situations or death. Cowls are able to attached and detached and be worn like a hood. Capes are worn from the shoulders and be tied up never be detached *(Such as Doctor Strange, Superman, Supergirl, Captain Underpants, and Thor)*

    Dear Fangirl. This is a theory that Incredibles 2 already debunked, but think about this.
    In the first movie Edna made the baby, whitout knowing his powers, a security-suit wich could withstand both bullets and fire.
    And in the end of first movie it just so happens that the baby can turn himself in metal and fire.
    Coincidence? I think not!

    Syndrome most likely the child of two super with non physical abilities, second Edna's is most likely a supervillain who found power in money and keeping the game superhero and villain going as she profits from both coming to her for uniforms also the government.

    • @Slytherinarmy
      @Slytherinarmy Před 2 lety

      This makes absolutely zero sense.
      1) buddy was just an ordinary kid, his parents are not mentioned but it’s safe to assume his parents were not superheros/had no super powers what so ever. He was a young boy who looked up to his favorite super hero, took rejection really badly & became a villain to plot his revenge against mr incredible, & all of the supers (which he killed along the way).
      2) Edna wasn’t a villain. If anything she would be considered a “hero” she is a famous/rich costume designer/super suit designer for the supers aka superheroes. If she was a villain she wouldn’t be helping the supers by designing their suits for them & would have made suits for villains. Like the video said, based off who Edna is & her financial wealth, she wouldn’t design a suit for syndrome & if she ever met him she could’ve probably easily been able to tell that he was a villain.
