the taffy ppl are Mrs. Spink and forcible but those versions are literally suppose to represent their younger selves this all happens in the other world after all that disaster happens in their play/musical anyways the camera panels up showing old Mrs. Spink and forcible while they're jumping on the diving boards after that its there we see them unzip their older selves to reveal the younger versions of themselves anyway I loved these theories but there's a few things that are either obvious or dont make sense at all like the one where you say everyone in the other world is a "puppet" of the beldams including the ghost kids speaking of them you do realize that if you die somewhere that's where your spirit stays so with that being said its clear the three kids were put into that room aka that long ass mirror (obviously at different time periods) till they literally died in that room by themselves starving scared and alone hence why their spirits linger and never leave that one specific room/area

I really don't think that's how the ghost eyes would work just having something doesn't automatically mean you know how to use it hell even if Coraline thought to use them she might not be able to she's only human and only recently got introduced to this magical world who's to say she could use them even if she wanted to? And remember it's not Bobinsky (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) using the eyes it's the Beldam even if this is all real and not a ruse the Beldam would want to save as much energy as possible it makes sense to make one of the wonders really not as wondrous as before and why not make it the one with the rats who seem to able to more or less operate on their own?

even if the "eyes" really did contain all the power the movie implies, Coraline wouldn't know how to use it. Maybe somone who knows about magic would be able to use the eyes to bend the other world to their wills, but Coraline has no clue how to do that.

I think that POV shot moving around the corner was just done with a video camera at a regular frame rate. We know they had a model of the house they could move a camera around with. The model of the house is in a museum.

I think these are the same others sfink and other forcible. Because, when they took the costumes off to reveil their younger selves, the younger cells have black eyes.

You know, it could be Coraline doesn't bother trying to use the eyes because she doesn't know how to use magic, after all she had no idea magic was even real until this point, or she could just working under the assumption that it's a type of magic only the Beldam can manipulate either because its what she does or because the Beldam has been in the world longer then Coraline and would know how it works.

Perhaps the button shadow is like a loading screen for the Pink Palace Limbo. The reason The Other Mother doesn’t mention it is because it wasn’t for Coraline, and it would freak her out.

You mentioned the smoothness of the camera movement early on, it doesn't mean that it's 3D-animated, it's actually motion-tracked. Any good editing video can stabilize the camera like this (you loose a bit of details on the sides since it gets cropped a bit).

For why Coraline doesn't use the power from the spheres, I think it's because she'd need to be magical like the Beldam to use it (like how Hades ember in Descendants 3 only worked for him and other people who were his blood but with being magical rather than blood) or it's something only the Beldam can use(like how Evie's magic mirror in Descendants only worked for her).

Whilst Dumbo was lucky to made a slim profit, that sucess wouldn't last long, when Bambi came out and bombed greatly as well. These three films's failures were made even stronger, due to all the ambition and money that went into them. Also, I don't know how Walt lost his audience with a passion project. When he gained his audience through Snow White, and how that film innovatived and showed what an art form animation can be. It would make sense that he still retained that audience, through even bigger films that pushed beyond what beauty could already been done with animation. If you mean he lost his audience with Pinocchio's darker tone, than maybe. Yet that wouldn't make sense, considering the studio were struggling with Snow White receiving an A certificate by the BBFC.
