- This story picks up where the huge success story of ABBA came to an end. In 1982, Frida, Agnetha, Björn and Benny chose to go their separate ways after internal conflicts. Here we get to follow their musical and personal journeys in the years after ABBA, with all the ups and downs of life, until the reunion in 2021. (Partially blocked FROM MIN 29:16 TO 29:54 in The United States, American Samoa, Canada, Guam, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Northern Mariana Islands, US Virgin Islands)

I can't recall ABBA ever being "ignored" Their brilliant music was always on the radio.
Abba are the best pop band ever. Never will there be another ABBA xxx
It is clear that the lack of empathy and recognition that Agnetha deserved by playing a double role as both an artist and a mother shattered the relationship, since it was a distraction for the business and Bjorn once realized that family life was not his thing. To continue writing they decided to go their separate ways, and something similar happened with Benny and Frida. Recognition for the group that together did their best work as a musical legacy for humanity. God bless you.
For me the 40 year later-reunion of ABBA is the greatest moment in musical history..It's strange how emotional I got and still am when listening to Voyage...a global gift for fans..and thank ABBA from the bottom of my heart. The feeling goes deep.
They are human and had their ups and downs like all married couples throughout their time together as man and wife and as a pop group. The difference was, they also brought enjoyment, love, happiness to and for millions and millions of people throughout the world, with their amazing and delightful songs/music. An incredible foursome who need to understand how great they were, and still are to so many many thankful people who continue to enjoy their music.
Great documentary. My only criticism is there was no mention of 'Muriel's Wedding' which played a huge role in reminding us that despite Muriel being dull and dowdy, she was right about how timeless the music was

C'est très juste. 👍👍
@@xavi312 not at all. I live in France, "Muriel" was the French title and it was a big hit here
Abba might felt into obscurity tens of years ago, but their music didn't. Is still the best of all pop groups', ever, for it's meant to touch human souls...and it's ageless...And now, with that " Abbatar" concept they truly entered in the 21-st century, to carry their beautiful, beautiful music from the past to the future.
Fantastic group ABBA..extra ordinary re-union happens after 40 years!..
It's magic, really. Only love does such things.
I think those two boys took the two girls for granted, both personally and professionally. On the professional level, It was great music and perhaps they also felt well, we are the writers or composers of it, the girls just sing. Maybe the men just didn't realise they were all magic together only. Had they not split up and pursued musical careers on their own or with others we could have had enormous enjoyment from them together for many years longer. Their personal lives didn't help in keeping them together either. Just my thoughts. Thank you for this video.
Me too... but the women are really very good...
perhaps you are Wright. i have the feeling bjorn and benny treated the girls not always nice. other women. but i good be wrong. i dont no. but nice voyage.
LA MAGIA DE ABBA ES Y SERÁ ETERNA PARA SIEMPRE... ❤❤❤❤❤❤ABBA❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

These beautiful people are an example to the whole humankind how the relationships can work out in love and peace. Thank you ABBA for your music and sound! Thank you for making people feel happy and creating positive emotions with your music! Thank you for being an example how to live the career in pop music with dignity and sensibility! ABBA is bigger than just music - it is also teaching humans to live in goodness. Tack så mycket! ❤❤❤❤

I always had Abba on my radar and never forgot her. abba cannot be compared with the beatles, with the beatles the radio stations would have freaked out if they had released a new single, after the successes abba were only rarely played on the radio like back then in Sweden because they were too commercial for the stations, or here in Germany For me, "the girls band" had more to it than just being a girls band.
I enjoyed the documentary. This highlighted that the majority of the songs Benny and Bjorn wrote for Frida and Agnetha were not duets, like the song I loved him so well. I cannot imagine how it would have felt for Frida or Agnetha when most songs were geared up for the higher tone (you can tell I am not a musician...right!)I
Bel documentario, ma hanno dimenticato di parlare degli album di Agnetha degli anni 80, e di Kristina fran Duvemala, grande musical scritto da Benny e Bjorn nel 95.❤❤
La voix c est FRIDA ❤
Quite a lot of inaccuracies. The interview in November 1982 was not their last on TV, that took place in December 1982 on The Late, Late Breakfast Show. Frida did not cut ties with her record company, her next album "Shine" would also be released on the Polar label etc.
I was born in the late 60s. Then in the 70s Pop scene it was ABBA DABA DO. My late mother was on it. I liked their few song's too. But Pop, Rap, Hip Hop, Soul, Funk & Disco music isn't my scenario.
🤔💭🤘
Why are you telling us ?
