I spent a few hours at the La Z Boy store today sitting in recliners. I settled on the leather, manual Talladega in chestnut brown. It was perfect! A lot less money than some of the other chairs too! I’m 6’1” and the wifey is 5’11”.

The Maverick is not suitable at all for tall people , the back is too short my entire head is above the back rest , the seat depth and width are spacious though

They are all rockers. if it wasn't mentioned it was either a style choice for the video or a mistake. All of the recliners in this video have the ability to rock until the legrest is engaged.
@@FurnitureAcademy OK, thanks for quick response I only have today to exchange or return. I don't think I like the rocker I just got my Astor home. I'm 6'4" and my feet don't touch the floor. The main deal is when I lift the foot rest, the back support part won't stay up it just plops all the way back, where I'm staring at the ceiling. I'm wondering if that can be tightened to add more friction.
@@theonemodifier Yes that can be adjusted actually! I linked the video for you below. You just need to tighten the tension springs. However if you aren't happy with the Astor and need something a little smaller obviously take a look as some of the others in this video. You might also be interested in the Greyson. I can deal with my feet not touching the floor in the rocker position if i lean back a bit. if I sit up straight they touched the floor, and I have a separate little footrest when I'm in rocking position and don't wanna recline. I love this chair, you have made my day, you have no idea, I was stressing out about it for three days, because on the website it says you have three days or you can't return it, and/or thinking I might have to pay a $300 restocking fee if I got another one. Also an operator name Stephanie was great, told me that's not the case, since I just went through an ice storm and stranded at home. And was waiting for a service technician. Some you say are rockers others you don't say. If you don't say does that mean they're not rockers? Is the Randall or talladaga a rocker?
