I just bought the Rowan glider on clearance at the local La-Z-Boy store. I have been waiting for my all powered Finley sofa to come soon hopefully in the next couple of months. I have waited since July 2021. It is such an amazing sofa along with my Rowan glider.
We ordered our Lazy Boy custom, very expensive, top of the line leather sofa, rocker recliner, and recliner chair August 2021. We were told 6 months till delivery, then it was nine months and finally 10 months. They held $5000.00 of our money as a deposit the entire time and never paid us a penny in interest. When it was delivered, we inspected it carefully and it had major problems. The leather was scraped from the backing in two areas and there were dimples in the leather. Those who delivered said no worries, we will call for someone to come out and take care of this. It took another two months August 2022 for someone to come. The person clipped ALL of the hanging threads - there were many and we made him take note of these in case they unraveled later. We have called lazy boy and even the corporate office several time to no avail other than to say they are working on the pieces - backs and seats to come in. We are disgusted with this company and their lack of care for their customers. We had Rooms to go leather furniture for 12 years and gave to our friends when this furniture arrived. We are sorry we ever bought it and would not suggest anyone purchase from the Lazy Boy and/or their Fort Myers
Thank you for the reviews. I purchased a Talladega on Black Friday '22 and it is the worst recliner I've ever owned. It squeaks horribly...even when sitting completely still it squeaks with each breath I take. Hubby and I have tried to lubricate it once already with no improvement. We could have purchased two cheapo recliners for the price of this one and probably wouldn't have had the noise issue.

Comfort is very subjective so it's difficult to say which is the most comfortable. Each piece is made specifically for certain body types. I am a fan of the Morrison but I think the most comfortable one is the Casey. Which is why I have it in my own home.
I have the 10x Morrison and its like laying on a cloud every time I come home from work. As a bartender I’m on my feet all day and by the end of the day I love nothing more than getting home laying on my recliner with my dog and gaming for the rest of the night until I pass out haha 10/10
Lazy Boy should strongly consider doing a small line of Modern Recliners. Not to sound too harsh… always felt L.B. were the khaki pants/sweat pants of recliners… really comfortable but looks were just ok. I’m gonna try out the Talladega and hopefully they are in stock with the memory foam.
Is the Natalie sofa a dated look? I need a traditional sofa that goes with the Rowan recliner. I get a vibe that seems to steer me away from the Natalie when I talk to sales people….just wondering if it’s a good sofa.
I don't think the Natalie has a dated look. I'm not sure why anyone would steer you away from it. I think the flared rolled arms will match the rowan well. If you've sat in the Natalie and liked it then I wouldn't let anyone talk you out of it.
Every Lazy Boy we have ever had--and we have had several--has ruined our carpets. The wood runners stained one carpet and the metal runners cut through another one. We even put a thick rug on top of the carpet to protect it and the steel runners cut through both. I'm looking for a new recliner now and went to the furniture store yesterday. All they have is Lazy Boys. I tried them out anyway. The guy didn't know a thing about any of his chairs, so this video is helpful. What I found to be a problem with the current Lazy Boys is that I could not pull up the handles that bring out the foot rest. I don't want an electric chair because of the hassle of repairs, which for sure will be in the near future because Lazy Boy chairs just are not well made.
With everything going up in price because of Covid and the ensuing inflation a lot of manufactures have had to cut corners. If not then these same chairs would be almost double the price and impossible to sell. Just think of how small food packages and portions have gotten when you buy groceries but the prices are still high.

How is your Astor holding up? I visited a Lazy Boy and really liked the Astor in leather and with wireless power. It was the Wall unit so it could be placed near the wall.
You need to showcase more recliners for shorter people and shorter heavyset folks. The majority of your reviews were for tall people. More folks in America are average 5’3” to 5’10”. You also seemed to focus, maybe unintentionally, on male users and I can tell you just as many female users favor recliners too.

The top selling recliner was for the height range you provided, and I believe the guy is just going purely based off sales. He never even mentioned gender he just said what height of person the chair was designed for by the manufacturer. Not sure how you are claiming this bias?
It was a great review and very helpful. Very disappointed to me. It looks like lazy boy I only for the tall people. Most people in the United States are not so tall. And what about women? Nothing for us the average woman? The most beautiful recliners are only for tall people!! Which is why La-Z-Boy makes recliners for petite all the way to extra tall body types. I see you've already taken a look at the petite recliners and also didn't like them. Do not buy a lazy boy you will be sorry if you buy an electric one I purchased one for $1600 and after three months it died and trying to get it fixed for the past two months and have got nowhere I thought the company would stand by its product but they do not I could have bought a chair at Walmart at 1/5 the price and I think Walmart would have stood behind the chair better than this don’t buy in electrical when it goes you can’t recline or do anything wish I had have never bought this chair and it’s one of the ones in this video

I bought a recliner. It was awful. The tech gave us hassle, and we had him removed from our case. They took it back and let me pick out a new one. When it came, it was nothing like it was in store. No padding. Dents and holes. Uncomfortable. Great customer service and a lousy product.

I've heard that the newer La-Z-Boy recliners are not as well made as past models - I don't know if the company has changed ownership over the years.
