Goofs in Sonic Boom (Episode 1: The Sidekick)

- Hunting for errors in TV shows and other media is a side hobby of mine. So today, I thought I'd share some of these mistakes (or as I call them, "goofs") that I've found in Sonic Boom!

Didnt know there was so many goofs in the animation, this would be cool to see more of for other episodes
I adore that it's actually a transcript of the episode with diolouge rather than just skimming through the episode with just text popping up
Videos like this are a great way to show future animators how to do a good job! Also, I love the use of minor YTP edits within the video, really adds that sense of your usual flair.
Alot of these goofs seem a bit more subtle, so I never noticed.
Certainly something you need to squint more to notice compared to the goofs of the Super Mario Bros Super Show with the constant wrong colors and voice lines coming from the wrong character.
Yeah, with a more well made show like this, it makes the goofs much more fun and interesting to find than all the obvious ones in the DiC cartoons.
Hopefully your series last much longer if for whatever reason these vids get taken down. Quite a few years back there was a channel that pointed out all the goofs for My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and eventually Hasbro and CZcams took them down for “stolen content” despite the disclaimers they had.
With that said, I never even noticed these goofs till you pointed them all out! Nice vid dude, hope to see more!
Good thing this is just episode 1 or we’d be here all day. This show had so many animation errors and reused models and it just wasn’t subtle about it at all. I remember in one episode, they had a completely unnecessary shot of Tails’ arm to show that he wasn’t wearing a watch (which you could already see from the shot before, so why they put this in is beyond me) except his whole arm was missing and it was just a shot of a floating glove. That’s when I knew quality control was not a priority on this show. Let’s hope Sonic Prime will look better than this.
That would be episode 23: “Let’s Play Musical Friends.” I went and checked what you’re saying, and his arm is definitely there. The glove isn’t floating.

3:09 his glove is also clipping through his windshield thing
I also thought it looked that way at first, but it’s actually not. You see his hand through the windshield frame because that part of the frame is broken off (because of the first crash).

Those goofs can be fun to nitpick
Well, I'll admit, it isn't exactly as good as the YTPs, but it does provide some good entertainment. And besides, it can be used as filler or a follow-up video if you'd like it to act as one.

No one knew this but boom tails is actually modern tails same with boom amy except her outfit is different
This has more goofs than the Sonic Boom games themselves.

Funny how the moment after the original preview ended before sonic runs over to tails, the quality dips

Another strange thing is that in this episode tails uses the plane from the game but for the rest of the series he uses the yellow one
Must've sold it to make the Yellow One or at the very least have it in storage saving it for adventures that doesn't involve the Yellow Plane.

Overanalyzing Sonic Boom?
Tails is also clipping the window.
It does look that way, but it’s actually because the window is broken from the crash.

Not Sonic Boom or exactly a goof, just something that doesn't make sense.
In Sonic Prime, when Sonic touches one of the shards, he gets transported to another dimension. Yet, when he wraps a leaf around it he doesn't, which proves that only if he touches it with his bare body he gets teleported. SONIC WEARS GLOVES, WHY TF DID HE NEED THE LEAF?!
