- We had a lovely brunch at Michael's Cafe at Uralla in New South Wales, Australia. I can recommend it, and all the shops in this lovely historic town.

Hi Shirley, love the cafe bar demo. They can be particularly difficult to paint, with all the chair legs and spindles which can easily look out of place. It has a lovely warmth to it
Thanks Eric
The painting is so beautiful. I envy your skills. I'm going around to learn oil painting these days. I'm still new to it. Your painting warms my anxious and painful heart. I'm not good enough to copy it yet, so I just watch the video. I want to copy it someday, decorate my house, and post it on CZcams to show it off. Thank you. 😂
Thank you. I’m glad you like this. Maybe do a few copies. The more you practice the better you will paint. Don’t expect to nail it first try. I tell myself that every botched painting is an ‘undercoat”. Then I paint over it with acrylic. Sometimes it will end up being an abstract!! 🙄😂
@@shirleypeters 자세한 설명 감사드립니다 좋은영상 감사합니다 자주와서 많이 배울께요
Wonderful to see you compose, plan and paint! Very helpful to me, a beginner.
Glad it was helpful!
Newby from Gold Coast Queensland Australia...love the freedom of your expression...beautiful 😊
Thankyou. Glad you like this style.
I appreciate your detailed explanations of your creative process. This makes your videos fantastic to watch.
That’s great. Thanks.
Absolutely beautiful. Full of ambiance. Draws you in ❤
That’s great. Thanks
I always love watching you paint Shirley ! You appear to be so casual about it but end up with something beautiful. This was no exception. Thank you !!
That’s great. Glad you enjoy the process
Love the light! Excellent.
Thankyou
Absutly brillant ❤👏🙂🇦🇺
Thank you!
I keep making mud with my watercolour. Stumbled onto your video today. I’m so heavily invested in watercolour but because I’m so bad at it I’ve started on gouache.. 😂 I love your honesty while you’re painting.
Hope you can get back to wc. It’s more spontaneous and expressive. One secret is to thoroughly dry your layers. I would dry about three times in each painting. Good luck.
@@shirleypeters thank you x
Love your loose technique and how your paintings turn out so beautifully. It takes skill and courage to share your thoughts along the way. Thanks so much for this tutorial.
Thank you so much!
Always a joy to watch you paint. Always inspiring❤
That’s great. Thanks
Another special tutorial- a beautiful, expressive and colourful painting. A very enjoyable experience to watch and listen. Thank you. 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi Shirley. I wasn't sure to start ( but that's normal for me), I think this paining is so charming. It has so much atmosphere. Love it and I love how you talk to us and not just music. Thoroughly enjoy your videos.
Ha! Glad you started. Thanks
Lovely
Thanks June

That was so instructive, as how to rescue a painting, thank you. It turned out perfectly.
A challenge!
Thank you. Lovely to watch and see result, perfect.
You’re welcome 😊
lovely light in this painting, delightful , I find it gives the eyes areas to rest
That’s nice. Thanks
Love the finished thing too!!
Thanks. It’s not bad from a distance 😵💫😂😂🙏
Ooh I want to try this. I love the colors! I admit your technique scares me but it always turns out beautifully! I wince when you put in the darks but then it dries and lightens just right! 😅
Yes. I hold my breath! 😂
Really enjoying this Shirl!! Love your honest chat 😊
Thanks Carm.
