Anxiety level: 100. I see. However, you don't have to know them. The wow-secrets discord that Zeddy mentioned has regular calls for forming groups to do this achievement. The folks here are super friendly. After a group is formed, they will queue together while coordinating with either voice or text chat. You will even feel like you've bonded with these strangers after an hour or so of doing it. I understand it's scary to go out with complete strangers, but trust me, it becomes comfortable the moment you actually commence the process.

@@KrivitskyMtbf because of you, I'm thinking to actually try this battlegrounds part of achievement. Since cardback look good (But I still prefer blood elf's one from barrens secret achievement). P.s. Alterac cardback was meh and doing labyrinth part was too long imo.

Note that you have to swap the Core version of Evasive Wyrm for the Descent of Dragons version and pick Gadgetzan Worgen Greaser instead of the Caverns of Time one.

@@sheildingepicnessi mean fundamentally this isn’t a bad idea, these things are generally known as ARGS (alternate reality games) and the point is to make a secret so damn obtuse and obscure and crazy that it gets a community together to try to solve it. It’s not exactly something made for one person to solve.
That being said, in terms of ARGS i’m not exactly sure this is among the best, especially given there’s no interaction with different forms of media like you see in other ARGS, it’s purely just within hearthstone, and alot of the secrets, god knows if the solver team did it with anything other than just sheer brute force

Finally, I can get the final one, thanks Zeddy! And especial thanks to the community in the wow secret finding discord, it took some time, but eventually I was finally online in a weekend where we finished the crazy 8s for EU and NA, they even did an extra one for NA as someone joined later. Very cool!

For the people here: Don't craft this deck if you won't complete all 4 of the meticulous challenges. One of them require entering battlegrounds with 7 friends or something its insane to do. Don't waste your dust if you don't have these cards.
yeah i'm an idiot for crafting the cards beforehand. oh well what a waste of dust.
I was in the secret finding discord for the last month or so, and we had fun trying to find this one (though was a bit frustrating at times).
I wrote some programs to parse lots of data we collected about board states - only to find out it was totally irrelevant!
The card back is pretty sweet and my default one now.
if Blizz spends time with ridiculous puzzles like this - no wonder they have no time to test Twist before releasing it.
I saw that you get experience for winning this couldn't the bots just run this over and over to get xp and never need to go to ladder?
How did they figure out this was the deck necessary to complete the achievement. For me personally how they figured it out is more entertaining than what they figured out. I know that wasn’t the point of this video but I think it’d be cool if you did do a video explaining it.

Odds are incestalon told that person so everyone could get the achievement before next expansion. Too much fake hype to be otherwise

I'm gonna be honest I completely don't understand Zeddy's explanation of how the deck list was solved. Can amyone explain better?
In one of the previous puzzles you got a full hand of cards, and usually they were all different, but every once in a great while somebody would get two cards that matched and the doubled card would make the list. The idea was that it would take such a huge amount of tries to get them all to appear that people would have to work together and pool their observations.

I went along with it until the battleground thing as well. I know I could find people on discord and stuff .. but I don't want to. Too social for hearthstone for me, I already play team based stuff and have to be social all the time, HS is my fortress of solitude
They outdone themselfs, now it's not 2 hours labyrinth, it's just find 7 other people to coordinate with you. At least this time cardback actually look good.

It's the stats of minions in the deck, in order of expansion age.

I think there are some cards that you have to manually swap for their expansion version instead of core version
Evasive Wyrm is the card I had to swap. The deck code puts in the core version, but you need the version from Descent of Dragons.

You need the descent of dragons version of evasive wyrm, not the core set version

Okay, I know no one is going to believe me, but I swear I saw someone with this card back a few weeks ago when I started playing again. Did they just basically solve the mystery without knowing it was basically unsolvable by a huge community for a long time? I guess they thought it wasn't a big deal and didn't share it with anyone?? I wish I took a screenshot, but I didn't think anything of it because I didn't know it was a secret card back.

This is the most stupid achievement yet. These secret achievements should be easier to get and make sense. Give it some lore from WoW or something. This looks way too freaking unbearable to enjoy.
