    Gotta ask... if you look at the 2:18 mark you'll notice that welds are missing and/or incomplete. Why the hell would you not weld squaretube all the way around? It would take less than 30 seconds to complete that weld. Is this the half ass quality that is built into each Safex?

    Thats great! 3 months ago Rhino safes sold me a Rhino strongbox with bolts and 12 gauge steel, so now they are saying what they sold me is shit.

      Companies will always and should always look to innovate. I’d say most safe manufactures are actually scared to make changes or move away from traditional methods. It’s nice to see Rhino actually try to improve on something that’s had the same approach for hundreds of years.

      @@NWSafe I was told by Rhino Tech Support that a mechanical lock was in the works due to SafeEx. This was for the Costco Big Horn model 23 cubic feet. Old school like the Mechanical Lock with a combo.

      @@NWSafe between the two companies to see the deference would be great! I have a Franklin now looking to purchase a second safe... Rhino cought my eye. I have already delt with Liberty Safe warranty department, I have to say they stood behind there products.. my safe is 7 years old had a internal malfunction.. it took some time but they fixed no charge .. very grateful for that. Looking for the next size maybe a Fat Boy for a comparison?

    • @NWSafe
      @NWSafe  Před 11 měsíci

      @@nowweride3094 Liberty does have a great warranty. That’s one of the reasons we’ve continually represented Liberty safes for over 35 years, they stand behind their products. A lot of manufacturers have a great warranty on paper, but when it’s time to make to actually warranty a safe it can be a battle. Liberty has always made warranty claims easy compared to most other brands.

      There's a pry test comparison video that is quite good. Two guys pry open the liberty in 1 min 48 seconds. Pretty sad . The Rhino they quit after 10 minutes because they couldn't pry it open.

      Every company does. I've called at least 6 of the biggest names and they told me "we will always cooperate with law enforcement". That's code for yes.. don't register it and remove the serial number from the sticker on top.

      Switch your locks out to a key lock most locksmiths and safe technicians have a hard time defeating them.

    Wish I would have gotten a Rhino. I bought an Old Glory thinking it was U.S. made and was very disappointed to find it was Chinese. The fit and finish wasn't near what all the reviews said either. I left a poor review. Go figure they never posted my review 🙄

    • @NWSafe
      @NWSafe  Před 2 měsíci

      We're sorry you had to experience that. Unfortunately the safe industry is plague with companies that purposely use U.S. Brand names on import safes like Winchester or Remington, or use American slogans, printed US flags, etc. all to fool customers into thinking their safes are made in the USA. This day in age photoshop and a nice web page can make any poorly made safe look like a quality product which is why we always recommend finding a local dealer to see a safe in person before purchasing. Stay away from internet only safe companies!

    around the 1:47 mark you'll see an animation. I don't know if I can trust a review that uses the manufacturers marketing gifs in their video

    • @NWSafe
      @NWSafe  Před 11 měsíci +3

      We’ve taken part in a handful of pry test over the years both in house and with other manufacturers. The GIF does a good job of showing what literally happens when a lightweight safe starts to flex/ fail. Sometimes companies have misleading marketing content and sometimes it’s actually useful. This would be a case of the latter.

    OK so all round the edge of the door is hollow to accommodate this stupid system?

    • @NWSafe
      @NWSafe  Před 8 měsíci

      It’s not stupid if it works 🤷
      But like most safes it uses a formed door instead of a plate door but the mechanism essentially does what the plate door would accomplish. In our opinion this system is stronger than the plate doors you’d find on similar priced safes.
