  • The Kenyatta family, Kenya's first family twice over, has perhaps, one of the deepest investments in Kenya’s economy than any political family. But a global leak of documents from offshore secrecy locations has exposed the family's long standing use of companies, and trusts in Panama and the British Virgin Islands. The leak is called Pandora Papers. The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists shared this leak with Africa Uncensored, who, with contributions from Finance Uncovered, can now report on the Kenyatta family's secret companies #PandoraPapers #Kenyattasecretcompanies

When President Uhuru Kenyatta came to power in 2013, he was meant to approve of the TJRC report that exposed the corrupt dealings of the father and his other family members, but he wouldn't do that. We vote with emotions as Kenyans, and not patriotism, and until then, we will continue to suffer socio-economically. Uhuru Kenyatta was ours and still is, and if the family had an intention of paralyzing Kenya, then we won't be boasting to be the largest economy in the region. They were in power since independence and Kenya became super stable in the region because of the Kenyatta regime. If you haven't had an experience of stepping out of Kenya, you will not understand the phrase (Kenya has been a potential investment for those in diaspora), until this new tax-based regime stepped in; only time will tell. Tutumie akili timamu wakenya; spread the patriotism spirit, that's all we need, and we shall prosper.
