Love you both, love your friendship and how you support and lift each other up, and love that you don't 'fake' anything on this podcast. Erin, life is chaotic and pushes us to the edge most days, but you and Charissa (and all the other side line reporters) always have your shit in one bag when you’re on the air. Based just on that, I would think you hadn’t a worry in the world. You’re amazing and have achieved so much already and you’re still so young! You will be fine behind the scenes! It all works out!
These two have always been my favorite sports reporters. Have to admit though, when I see them on the job now, I see these personas.

Erin Your total class, it is nice to watch this, and to have two women speak, and such a variety of subjects you’ve hooked me. You answered a bunch of my questions.

Listen to CT. Everything she said was totally on point. Go back and listen to what she said again. No “yeah-buts.” She’s right about this. And do find a therapist. It’s worth the work.

Truly, truly the smartest people are able to say "I can't do it all!" As a woman, the true reality comes to us when we are in our 40's and accept ourselves for who we are! Yes, it's HARD!

CT, as a fellow PNWer, I will tell you something about moving away from the coast. In 2006 we moved to Vegas. I'd never lived anywhere else so this was a first. I didn't miss the water at all. In fact, I was IN the water all year long, either pool or hot tub. And, I was for the first time in my life, warm. It was really hard moving back to the grey, damp, drip in 2009. 😊

Erin. There is no game plan for parenting. And you will drown thinking you can do it all. Ask yourself who is the human you’re endeavoring to raise? And then where is YOUR energy actually required to achieve this. You’re freaking out and Mack is TINY!!! The true parenting comes later and can also be accomplished in many ways. Physical presence is not the primary way to connect and parent.
Generational differences are real. I’m 52 and my kids are 25, 21 & 18. The relationships are actually more deep via text with them. It feels like I’m not connecting but that’s because it’s MY bias about shit should work. THERE IS NO RULE BOOK! If it’s working for your family then you’re doing it right. Period. ❤
