Yesterday, everyone knew The Beatles. Today, only Jack remembers their songs. He’s about to become a very big deal. From Academy Award®-winning director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, Trainspotting, 28 Days Later) and Richard Curtis, the Oscar-nominated screenwriter of Four Weddings and a Funeral, Love Actually and Notting Hill, comes a rock-n-roll comedy about music, dreams, friendship, and the long and winding road that leads to the love of your life.

I can't say enough how much I absolutely love the fact that they cast a guy who can really play guitar and sing, rather than just getting a star to lip sync. On top of that talent, he also acted the part perfectly. Lots of nuance in that character, a lot of emotions that had to be expressed that weren't in dialogue, and he nailed it. This movie still gives me goosebumps during multiple scenes every time I watch it.

This movie has it all, a little make believe, drama, comedy and a love story. Oh, and some of the greatest music of all time. Left the theater with a smile on my face. Well worth my hard earned dollar to have seen.

@@Kruso After The Beatles help put the name on the map. Sure the Shadows recorded there but thats not a draw. The peoples 100% got this studio to the stage it was at by the time Floyd and Syd decided recording there. Sure I will give you the benefit that they may have discovered it on there own, but again, thats a situation we will never know. Not unless all the power goes out and The Beatles never existed. THEN we can see if Floyd records there or not.

At first I thought this was a cute premise.
Then I saw the trailer and I desperately want to see this thing now.
Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocket man were great but this is a nice change from the usual documentary.

This song has had a significant impact on my life. My late uncle gave me the "cassette" of The Beatles on my 10th birthday, and I was so hooked up to this song I played it until the tape snapped. It was 1988. A year before, I couldn't pronounce or even spell table. After listening to The Beatles repeatedly for 1 year, here I am, 35 years later, speaking and writing fluent English. Thanks to my uncle and The Beatles.
There are moments when something appears in life, in the universe, in the continuity of existence that changes everything, and from that moment if their absence ceased to exist, it would be too noticeable. This song, with its lyrics belongs to that category.

Mr. Patel has a voice that melts all stress and tension. He is very soulful, and doesn't sound totally autotuned.

I can’t wait for this movie. I just saw Paul McCartney for the first time on Friday and it was probably the greatest night of my life. Unfortunately he never even played this song, but when he played blackbird, it was just magical. No one tops the Beatles. No one.

An SM 58 is a classic amazing mic...Found in every studio..Price does not always = greatness.
What a dumb comment . Cant believe with all this technology there still using old Fenders, Gibsons, Gretsch, Rickenbackers and yes SM58's. You can use it to hammer a nail and still gig with it. Still the most common mic used on stage today !!
Mark Rice exactly... it’s a hardened road worthy mic... that you would therefore never use for a studio recording. You use condensers for tracking vocals in studio not dynamics like the sm58. Also his point still stands- they would use more than a $99 mic even if it were the right kind.. which it’s not!

Like every other young kid growing up in the 60's in America, I, we loved the Beatles! In 1965, I went to Mpls. to see them in concert and it was like an out of body experience! My ticket cost $5.50, and that was nearly a front row ticket, so unlike most of the 25 thousand people, we actually heard them sing! I hope this movie rekindles a fresh interest in some great music by the greatest pop band ever!
I thought is was an awesome movie. Loved every millisecond. I was hoping Paul had some sort of cameo like as a roadie asking Himesh for an autograph.
Wow, Himesh Patel sounds amazing! Also the clips of Jack and Ellie look adorable and heartfelt. I can already see that they’ll be the heart of the film and I love that. I’m sure the songs are going to be great too if this is any indication of what they’ll sound like. I can’t wait for this film! 😊
