World's strongest man ever lived

Louis Cyr was a Canadian strongman whose career spanned the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His reported exploits, such as lifting 500 pounds (227 kg) with one finger and backlifting 4,337 pounds, prove Cyr to be the strongest man ever, according to former World Federation of Body Building and Fitness head Ben Weider, who claimed in 2000.
