For point 1 I mostly agree, however I think for certain lists writing could come in handy: thinking C2-level verbs, a vocab list for something very specific (boat parts for instance, or trees). Just to diversify a tad from digital memory retention, though the latter is still my preferred option generally speaking (for sentences/words you stumble upon when listening to podcast or the radio). Thanks for the video ! I’ll keep on with the paper notes since I learn Japanese and writing by hand helps remembering the kanji, but as I review I’ll create a note for the most difficult words I come across on my phone as you do. So I can do a super quick review and I’ll pay attention to deleting them, otherwise it’ll just be a very long list I’ll never want to read.
