I've had the e-bike since Jan 2017 and have the original battery. I don't ride it all the time, mainly in the summer to go bank fishing so it hasn't had a hard life...

LiPo batteries may only last 5 years. My expensive 86v, 28 Amp hour battery died after 5 years. Use it before it dies!
