    I got a tee during the most recent season, and has been practicing and just forming the best hitting style for me. I’ve been able to practice and better utilize target oppo, pull and center hit!
    Thanks for the videos to get better!

    Tee work improved my game substantially several years ago. The teammates who criticized the tee work saw their games decline during the same period and retired.

      We hear you. I was always kind of Luke warm on the idea of tee work and never used to do it. At the beginning of covid SF had pretty strict rules about seeing other people so I figured I might as well try tee work since I had so few other options. Turned out to be one of the best things I ever did for my game.

      @@LeagueNightSoftball I'm in SoCal and the only thing I could do at the start of the pandemic was to hit off the tee. the parks down here were closed so I had to walk a good 1/4 mile around the fencing, gates with ball bag, tee, bats, etc. It was freaky because I was the only one in the park in Apr 2020.

      Retired - of course you mean gave up aka quit ...

      @lds2184 it was incredible to see one our our guys who used to murder 3rd basemen routinely declined so much within 2 years. He lost confidence and could barely get the ball out of the infield in the end. Naturally he "retired" and is "too busy" with the kids now.

    Great and helpful video!!! I got back to tee work when I I feel my form is off. Question for you….is that the red Monsta Boogster you’re swinging? If so, what do you think about it?

    • @LeagueNightSoftball
      @LeagueNightSoftball  Před 2 lety +1

      Glad we could help! That IS a Boogster. Still kind of newish so still breaking it in. Seems to be taking longer than some of the other Monstas we've swung. Right now we prefer the 2 piece M2 bats but still holding out hope that this one could be even better.

      @@LeagueNightSoftball I have the same Boogster bat and yes, it does take a bit to break in. My blue candy SE Monsta Torch became my gamer over my Boogster. Found the Torch has a bigger sweet spot and a bit more forgiving, BUT with the Boogster if I hit the sweet spot, I get more distance. Now I also got the Monsta DNA Legacy and this bat is quickly becoming my gamer.

    Good mike work btw. The weed eater was annoying but i could hear you both just fine and still enjoy the video.

      Yes, we know. LOL. The audio did not come out as intended. However, we have a plan for the next remote shoot and sounds should be worlds better. Plus, we will be heavily avoiding weedeaters.

    Not sure if it was mentioned but what tee are you using?

    • @LeagueNightSoftball
      @LeagueNightSoftball  Před 2 lety

      Our "tee" is actually an older tripod, generally used for lights and photography equipment. The great part is that I will go up higher than we need which is perfect for softball since most tees don't go high enough IMO. Also, the replacement rubber cones you can get on Amazon fit perfectly over the top attachment point. Good question!

    What kind of tee was that ?

    • @LeagueNightSoftball
      @LeagueNightSoftball  Před 2 lety

      It's actually an old tripod made for holding lights for film and photography. The attachment point for the lights fits a replacement tee cone perfectly. A friend of mine gave me the idea and it has worked great for me.
      Here is the tee we usually use nowadays, it comes as part of a set: amzn.to/3G566ZD
