- Two updated mountain bikes from Norco and they both sport a high-pivot suspension design. Vital rides the 2024 Optic and Sight and decides which they're going to keep for a long-term review.
2024 Norco Optic, 125mm rear travel, 140mm front
2024 Norco Sight, 150mm rear travel, 160mm front
Alloy and carbon frame options, dual 29-inch wheels or mixed/MX wheel setup compatible.

About Optic Head Angle. Our bike shipped with a geo sticker on the bike that says 63 degrees. Norco's geo chart says 65 degrees. When we measured with an angle finder, the Optic we have with a 140mm Lyrik is at 64 degrees on the dot. You can see more about it on our site - www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/bikes/norco/sight-47406#comment-429026
thats strange :D Thanks for meausureing
Damn. These updated Norcos look sick.
Indeed, just saw them Sea Otter Classic and wow.. Sic indeed..👍
Likes your dialog/review over top of lots of good riding footage
Ive just got a Fluid FS A2 and I absolutely love it. Norco goes above and beyond with their part specs. The new Optic looks like an absolute weapon but that light green Sight just calls to me.
The Norco sight A2 MX priced at 3999$ is great value and I like that norco didn’t compromise with garbage parts great job
That Optic c2 has to be up there for best looking bike of the year in that blue with a big ol' can
Johnny is an OG still on flats
Id like to see a multi brand high pivot review. I own a Claymore and am always interested in other high pivot bikes.
4k just for a frame. Damn.
wish see more for this two bike
I feel like the alloy frames with the new vivid is the move here.
They both nice bikes
Purple alloy Optic would be excellent
The bike rides amazing.
At first I thought this was just an updated shore from the photo of these videos
Ну наконец-то появился оптик в алюминии!
I like short chainstays, but i feel like these are too short for how long the large and extra large reach are
Great looking bikes. Sights colours don't make me want to buy though.
Am I actually looking at a 120mm RS Vivid on that Optic? Paired with a 140mm Lyrik? That's kinda hilarious. DownCountryDownHill bike...
Why would the HA be a degree steeper on the bike that's more gravity focused?
They mixed it up here- the optic has a 65 degree hta vs the 64 on the sight. They kept saying 63 for the optic, but that’s incorrect according to the Norco sight
How tall are you?
High pivot on 120mm shock travel? 😂
and compatibility for a coil shock with full on Enduro geometry, it's odd and I'm not sure how I feel about it but that thing must rip on flow trails and lighter chunk while on steep terrain.
Also 35lbs for a short travel trail bike with carbon frame ,no pedals,EXO tires.
Pass.
Still trying to figure out why I'd want a high pivot short travel bike......
@@jokermtbBecause it's the fad du jour.
You need to understand a few things about bikes to get it or you can cry because you don’t
Ill pass on both. See at SM!
Norco still doesn't "get it" with the long cranks on Sm and Med bikes.
Greg minaar new trail bike
There nice little to much
ugly rigs.... just like any other high pivot design
