  • Norco aren't strangers to the world of high pivots - the Aurum HSP downhill bike kicked things off over six years ago, followed by the Shore and then the Range. The trickle-down continues for 2024 with the launch of the new Sight.

Upgraded my 2020 Sight with better rear rotor, oval chain ring, and Cascade Components real link. It already feels long, so HP lengthening on big hits might not be something I'd want to trade my 2020 for. Norco makes a great bike and I'm not into trading in the old, just for a high pivot.

Great looking bike!! But Looking at the geo numbers it makes me like my Stumpjumper evo even more 2021 model with current geo numbers and travel, UDH compatible, mullet compatible, tube in tube cable guides, holds a water bottle, frame storage and swat tool, just golden for me!! I’ve been thinking of getting a new bike but all new bikes just don’t give enough reasons for the change including prices 😅

I’m in the exact same boat. I went alloy SJ Evo as I bought during covid and couldn’t get anything in carbon, and now it’s full custom, cascade link and coil. I’d like to try a carbon frame or get a new frame at minimum but I can’t find anything that makes me go for it, other than maybe a S-Works SJ Evo frame if I find the right one. If I don’t find anything over the summer, will probably buy an Arrival 150 next winter if they go on sale.

As an Ibis fan, hard to compare any bikes to the value of an Ibis. Norco still makes good bikes!

@@50whatnomadtravelnursemtb5Nah, look at pinkbikes review for the hd6. They have the top spec and list the weight as 33 and a halfish. Which is commendable for an enduro bike with a 38, X2 and double down tires. But we are way past the times where high travel bikes are under 30 pounds unfortunately. However modern bikes pedal better and carry their weight better anyways, so weight isn’t a huge factor until you start punching up to 40ish pounds.

How many bikes of a brand are sold that cost over $5 grand? Must be Bankers... and doctors. And why is it the only brand that makes a great frame for tall riders is KTM? Those super-angled transgender toptubes, make me feel like being on a girl's rig. Hey bike brands: Not every rider wants a big-suspension, progressive frame.
