This made me respect Pauly Shore. He intentionally sabotaged a terrible animated film by making Pinocchio a gay icon, making a boring straight to video film into an at least slightly entertaining film.
I think the worst sin of this movie is having Tom Kenny’s name associated with it. I feel so, so bad that he had to be a part of this. Thank God he was barely in it, I’m sure it was a nightmarish experience for him.

i personally believe geppetto's in a poly relationship with the horse and the fairy woman. pinocchio's their bratty gay teenage son and bella's a lesbian (absolutely no reasoning for this last point, i just think she should be one)

Why did his wooden hair become actual hair before he is even a real boy. Like he’s just suppose to be an animated poppet at this point. His hair would still be wood. Shit, I just realize that it only looks like wooden hair in that scene when Geppetto is carrying Pinocchio’s head. Then it suddenly becomes individual hairs in the next scene and he’s not even alive yet.

The russian dub doesn't make make this movie any better. And it wasn't well received in Russia. The gay memes made it more memorable, though.

I honestly had mixed feelings about this adaptian on Pinocchio, and by mixed feelings i mean i kinda enjoyed the film it had moments that made me laugh but at the same time i thought it wasn't great either, but that's just how i felt about it.

This entire movie looks and sounds like a really weird ad for a shit mobile game.
Honestly, it’s still not as insane as the original Disney version of Pinocchio. For those who don’t know, I’ll give a brief synopsis: it’s about a wooden doll that comes to life but wants to be a “real boy”. On his quest eventually stumbles into a ring of child traffickers who take boys who are fed up with their lives or don’t want to listen to their parents and bring them to a cursed island where they can play, drink, smoke, have sex with each other, etc. as they stay on the island, they transform into donkeys. The significance of this is that they’ve made “jackasses” of themselves and behaved like “destructive animals”. Once they fully transformed and cannot talk they are shipped back to the mainland and sold as livestock. Pinocchio escapes the island while only halfway transformed and upon being told that Geppetto was swallowed by a whale, goes to save him. Pinocchio ends up drowning while trying to save him and then gets revived by the fairy who made him come to life in the first place. A lot of people think the point of the story is you’re not supposed to lie because of the whole nose thing, but it’s more about not doing anything that was seen as bad at the time. So the messaging is telling kids don’t smoke/drink underage, Don’t fight, don’t lie, stay away from strangers, don’t be gay, etc. and yes there is a lot of “Gay panic” evident in the movie, especially on “pleasure island” Where same-sex relations is portrayed as one of the awful acts that the children do in order for the curse to take effect. The moral of the story here is that “immoral acts” are caused by independence and allowing children to think for themselves so in order to keep them safe and “able to reach salvation” you must cement your own beliefs into the minds of your child and make them so dependent on you that even the thought of upsetting you is terrifying to them.
