the boss topped out in phase 2 when we had a lot of zone charged, so it carried over to phase 3, greatly helping us. but i do NOT care, a win is a win. we take those. blame the boss for blundering.
(we did get very lucky though, that's a fact)

Never played tetris effect nor do I know the mechanics of boss fights, so Idk whats going on here lmao. How exactly does sacrificing one player save others so that they wont go down together? Or is this just a joke that im too dumb to understand LOL
@@squareball7017 When all players die at the same time, the game ends, but if someone dies while other players are still on the field then they're able to revive. Doremy and his teammates took turns dying and reviving to clear their board so they didn't get overwhelmed all at the same time and die together

@@dazc9965 oh jeez thanks a lot! Dang, that was actually a smart move by them. It was kind of confusing on why Doremy killed himself at around phase 2 was it and letting his teammates play for themselves, but after reading your explanation and looking back, I totally understand now

That would be Tetrimidion but plays at 3.5 pps instead of 2. Doremidion would also be preemtively entering defense mode after landing a certain debilitating blitzers (i.e. no-spin, broken).
If there's going to be a raid boss beyond this it should be something that specifically does stuff that targets god-tier player strategies. That's the only way it can justifiably get any worse.
Like..all players do not get any T pieces for 60 seconds, and no SRS-type spins work with any other pieces for that length of time.
@@MewtwoStruckBack The really hellish ones I can think of would be Hard block/field that applies in checkerboard pattern, or "no spin" that only starts in default position, or "fast" that starts at M30 speed.

This play is so high-level that I genuinely don't understand what I'm looking at
the stalling got extremely intense in stage 3-- I could not believe kibi and kirby were surviving in some moments. The zone charge carrying over is such a blessing.

I notice how in the third phase, when Doremy revives, Kibi and Kirby are both dying or almost dead, but when they revive, Doremy usually has breathing room to not die still.
Yeah, one of them usually tactically suicides to prevent all 3 being down at once

afaik when in Phase 3 of the Tetrimidon boss, if the entire team lives into Zone, the attack will do 1000 damage *at least* over a certain lines cleared threshold. You see this in other Tetrimidon boss videos too.
@@notsamk6082 yeah that's exactly it in the last zone you do it always just pops off 1k+ damage, all 3 players have to be alive for it tho which in maniac especially is obviously insane in and of itself

I love that you can see each player’s approach/team strategy to building and attacks.
Kibi builds up a bit and then holds it until it’s time
Doremy quickly builds up and then quickly clears, building meter
Kirby stays lower until a fusion is about to happen, then quickly builds up, staying relatively safe in the meanwhile
Together, they have a team that can deal good damage while also not being completely wiped by an unlucky attack

Final round has a 100x multiplier if all 3 enter zone, and a 0x multiplier if not.

Doremy is actually the perfect candidate to take down this boss. His creative downstacking is on another level which gives him the opportunity to add more zone to the meter and attack better

I think in phase 3 the attack of the first zone is increased to basically always-win levels, because without 3 players alive it would do 0 otherwise. The zone is basically just a victory showcase for them.

This is the first Effect Connected video I’ve seen
Three people play against a (somewhat dumb) computer opponent. However every line (greater than 1) that is sent will give the three of them an effect (high gravity, no next piece, invisible field, etc). If you've ever played tetris party, its similar to that.

I got to the third phase of this with a guy that didn’t even know how to hard drop lol. It was incredibly frustrating during the zone part

I know you had to work with the goddess of Tetris Effect (and the founder of 21-23 line clears (Kirbtris, Impossiblitris and Infinitris), as well as another amazing player with similar name and one of the very best and champion of Tetris Effect (Kibibyte), but you guys did it! stalling. basically whenever there is a new, idk what to call it but ill say “anti-powerup”, it freezes everyone in place and freezes the timer for the lock delay. also rotating/moving your piece resets the lock delay timer. you can only have 15 keypresses at max when your pieces touches the bottom before it automatically places. they have to strategically plan those 15 keypresses so that the piece doesnt place too early.
This looks so much fun, wish i had friendds who were into tetris aswell :)

Does anyone know exactly how maniac mode makes the bosses harder? Is it an damage multiplier the boss receives, so it attacks faster and defends better? Also are the boss's attacks seem more erratic/powerful, or is it just me?
Ofc, great job with it! I've beaten the normal Tetrimidion 3 times I think, and tried Maniac Mode once, don't think we made it half way into the first round of phase 1, lol, so I can definitely understand how insane this is!

Just got this on Xbox with game pass and was having fun thinking I was pretty decent but this proves to me I have a fuckton to learn
me and my sister reached this area playing together with a level 7 bot (which is the level that I am equivalent compared to a bot), we get CRUSHED in the phase 3, with my sister dying every time, me and the bot trying to survive, It was insane.
took me 10 minutes to figure out wtf is going on, i was like, is the big icy scheme one a player? are the 3 colours the players? eventually i gathered that it was a team vs enemy thing, like a 2d Destiny 2 Vanguard or Raid
