- Changing out the front two 6.5 woofers and tweeters on W212 Mercedes Benz with Harmen Kardon Package
My thoughts on these are that for sure, the music is a lot clearer now. Doesn't sound muffled anymore in the louder volumes. There is also a lot more bass in the front, which was my main goal. IMO was a pretty good upgrade.

Thanks for this. I have the Harman audio package as well, and my drivers side front speaker has been cutting in and out. I’m going to upgrade both front speakers to 60CSX’s as well now. What size rivets did you use to mount the speaker adaptors? Thanks.
I used nuts, washers, and bolts to hold down the adaptor. I think they were a 5x12. Sorry, don't really remember the size.
Do you by chance know the item number for the oem car door speakers that come with the 2013 Mercedes Benz E350 4MATIC ?
Nice Video, u r lucky that you have got ventilated seat, Yr stock player has video option, Compass etc in India mercedes is expensive yet we don't have those features to reduce cose.

woah thats a crazy upgrade, i might do this, also i blew the rear sub which is made of paper so im not surprised. Might have a car audio shop install it though
I honestly recommend to upgrade the speakers and the sub because it does change, for me that is, how music sounded in my car. Just the tweeter alone, i can hear a lot more detail, clarity, and also finding a lot things that i couldn't hear before in the music. The only thing from the tweeters is that its way too crispy. I have to tone it down in the EQ inside Spotify. small trade off though. LOL

The one that's out of my car is 204-820-21-02. this is with the harman kardon system. I think this is for the 2010-2012 model w212. For the cars without the premium audio then its 212-906-70-00.
Do these speakers and brackets work on a 2016 w212 with hk?thank you in advance

I got the speaker brackets off of amazon. its the metra 82-8701
Does This speakers work on Non harman W204 ?
Pretty sure it does. The speaker bracket is marketed as a 2007-2017 Mercedes C class speaker bracket on amazon. it should also be the same process of replacing the speakers. drilling 3 rivits and mounting the speaker bracket then the speaker.
I know the 3 way speakers have built in tweeters in them, can I use 2 ways speakers in my car?
I think, don't quote me for it, if you have the Non-Harman Kardon system it would work to have anyway speaker with built in tweeters. However, I found that speakers with built in tweeters don't work for the Harman Kardon system.
What about the back speakers and the woofer

The Ohm rating should be 4 ohms. Not really sure about the factory size, but you can use an adaptor to fit 6.5 inch speakers. (or you can destroy your old speakers and use the housings as an adaptor) For the rear, it's not worth it for me as either you destroy the speaker to get to the rivets behind it or you remove the metal panel to take the rivets out. As for the subwoofer, you have to find the negative and positives of the audio cable that is coming from the factory amp and, using a cable to RCA connector, splice into it to plug into another amp.

Oem speaker is 2ohm But yours 4 ohm. Unfortunately new speakers will worse
Harman in w212 is horrible,basic sound system sounds much much better
Vocals sound worse on the after. You've improved the bass and sacrificed the quality 😪
It sounds worse because the audio is clipping, but you can still hear the difference in clarity. It's also a lot better in person.
