    There’s a very simple and practical way to make your rhythm guitar much more interesting. Instead of just playing straight cords you can create some movement to it by just adding double stops from your chords.
    In each of the simple chord shapes you play, you can connect to double stops in a very simple way. That will make your rhythm guitar playing way more rich and fun to play.
    This is an intermediate guitar lesson.

    You can used the D shape on the bottom 3 and 3,4&5 strings
    Hammer ons and Offs.
    Really liking your tone.What position and what pedals ?

    That C string hammer on is just because you’re out of neck to use your D shape.

    the teacher is not explaining - other than "I like this shape here" . not even a mention of major or minor.

      He defo does mention it, like G, D and C and Eminor. He even gives usable examples of licks and double stops .
