Claire (Julie Bowen) makes a drunken decision to donate her egg to Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) to have their next child. But neither Claire and Phil (Ty Burrell) nor Mitch and Cam feel like letting the other pair down after sobering up and coming to their senses. (Season 3 Episode 15).

Mitch and Clair having a conversation under the table signifies something really important. When the news came out everyone started to pop their opinions when really both the couples were reluctant to doing this. Sometimes family influences us in making incorrect choices. It's important to cut the chatter and focus on the most important thing and the decision should be theirs whose lives are going to be impacted by that decision.
