Mitchell: That's a lot of attitude, you sound like my dad
Joe: OUR dad

I can't stop laughing at that!

🤣😂😂😂
Guys where do you find modern family season 11 I can’t see it on sky1

It's fucking hilarious
Country Explorer Lady that’s one Alabama shit lol
Weird how in a sitcom it's kinda funny when in real life Cam's behaviour is so sociopathic that Mitchell would probably get full custody.
yup
Yup in one episode he was totally gaslighting him telling him he’s crazy
Only a Millennial/Zoomer would think into it this way. Talk about sociopathic.

My God, I keep trying to think that Cam’s victim complex, guilt trips, and manipulation is just a fluke by the writers. It’s honestly a CONSISTENT character trait.
He kind of acts similar to Jerry from Rick and Morty
@@sixfeetundertheradar6080 Not really. To me jerry doesn’t really play the victim. He kinda is
Taylor T ...does that make Cam worse than Jerry? Cause yikes
Thank you! I love Cam because the actor plays him very well but the character is very flawed.
It’s been consistent from day one. Lol
Yeah, Cam is a just a hilarious super-extra fictional sitcom character, but any man who starts behaving like that to me is getting thrown to the curb.
Exactly. I love to watch his character and Eric did an amazing job portraying him.
Amen to that
*human
The curb? I would make him beg for mercy and never give it to him if he treated me the way he treated Mitch.
And I'm changing the locks and all the codes to everything
I know this is a sit com and characters should be taken lightly, but the amount of people in the comments agreeing with Cam's actions and saying they would do the same thing is highly disturbing.
That's why I don't like to see any shows, most all of them are really disturbing, I even gave away my TV, enough is enough
They do not understand satire 👍😂
Yeah.... God know what were the writers high onwhile writing this stupid episode that they thought this would be funny....i mean this is not the first time cam has done something so cringy...he is always manipulating mitch into doing things he doesn't want to but this here was down right pathetic and poisonous...i mean mitch also does thing cam doesnt like but never something this toxic.this is the lowest i think a person can go in the name of toxic selfishness.i really hope mitch understands his worth and finally breakup with cam before the series ends.
@@sukusuku7150 you should express yourself more respectful i think
@@Ryan-pg1tw who did i disrespect😕😕?
i started rewatching the show and honestly most of Cam's behaviour is straight up abusive. the only reason Mitch keeps giving him a chance is because cam targets his mommy and daddy issues, and always plays with them. Mitch is scared that if he leaves cam he's going to be unloved. throughout the show, Mitch isn't allowed to grow as a person, polish a skill, try to feel good about himself without cam victimising himself. Mitch wins an award, cam has to show he's better, Mitch tries to sing, cam has to get offended. cam gaslights Mitch everytime he even REMOTELY stands up for himself, then in between takes Mitch takes the blame and in the end of the episode it's just called love.
YES. I rewatched it too after ages. Really loved cam when I watched it first but he was selfish and shitty a lot of times, never admitted when he was wrong. Mitchell definitely deserved better 🤷🏽♀️

I love this show and it’s funny as hell but Cam honestly is not a good guy
He is so selfish, immature, self entered, always thinks he is the victim even when he’s the one who’s 100% in the wrong, and is not a good boyfriend or husband
Mitchell is a a great guy and a great boyfriend/husband and could do so so much better than Cam
nah they both annoying but cam is alot funnier
I think Mitch did also some selfish things. But I agree with you
yeah in real life you wouldn’t want a partner like that
to be honest they’re both kind of toxic. i agree it’s a funny show but the jokes they make about Lily (the Asian jokes & i think there’s some jokes about girls too) and lesbians are soooo wrong. i’m sure the show writers don’t condone that. i honestly don’t think Cam or Mitch were meant to be good people.
and yeah Cam used to be my favorite but now i know better glad to know i’m not the only one that sees it
Oh come on its a character only
The fact that cam was not a good husband and was really self centred , manipulative and toxic but nobody talked about it and choked it off to him being funny ... and it bothered me that he was many people's fav character .MITCHELL had a character development ... He really grew on me ... Cam was funny in the first seasons but became really annoying and toxic . Mitchell honestly deserved better . I need them to get divorced . If cam was a real life person I would just throw a plate at him
Exactly
I feel sorry for Mitch always keeping his goals behind just for that toxic so called loving husband
Why would everybody "talk" about it.
There were a lot of episodes where i just felt like punching cam in the stomach
The only time I was ever on Cam’s side was when Mitchell would look down on him for being a country boy and act like a snob. But yeah for everything else Cam was awful and what makes it worse is that he was a terrible father too
This should’ve been the final straw for Mitchell. He honestly should leave Cam for all the shit he puts him through.
I know right he deserves better
Agreed. Cam is so toxic and constantly plays the victim.
Just watched this episode. I love Eric's portrayal but the character is too toxic. Not to forget, he started looking for a job in Missouri without even talking to Mitch or Lily. He is so manipulative and when called out, pulls the victim card.

Literally every thing that Cam says in this scene turns into a guilt trip
Cam compares buying an earthquake kit to lying to your partner and friends

I honestly would have cried if I discovered that my husband painted me in such a bad light, and if something did happen he made sure to get people on his side from the beginning even if he was wrong. What Cam did is messed up and he should have apologized instead he does see what he did was wrong.
Some people so well pointed out that Cameron's insecurity is ridiculous.
And someone else also so rightly pointed out that it is just for comical effects.
I agree and but I think in the first three seasons the show didnt exaggerate their flaws too much, which is saying they were more realistic. They were just a gay couple who were no doubt subject to the environment but are still supportive and loving especially for their families. Of course, they have sides of silliness, but they are trying to become a better person for each other.
But things just get worse and I think season six is a benchmark. After season 6 these two characters were so dramatically twisted that they are become pure fictional. You're right that their "toxic" qualities are more like for comical effects. But sometimes the show employs some stereotypes surrounding the gays which I think cross the line and to a point even become offensive and ignorant. Like in this sence, Cam's insecurity is just ridiculous.
To me the episode in season 6 where Cam and Mitchell were at their best was obviously lost connection where was all done through video chat
Cam is toxic. Having a relationship with him is not mentally good for Mitchell and i do hope they break up before the series ends cause i do NOT like how Cam always play the victim card when really is his fault and most of the time do not apologize to Mitchell.
It's a COMEDY
Maybe it’s a comedy but Cam is toxic and a sociopath. Every episode shows reasons they should split and it’s mainly Cam’s mental and emotional abuse of Mitch.

Agreed
I feel like the writers were trying to make a statement, that people may not think they would ever be able to survive, or raise a child or do anything functionally
it s like a statement on homophobia, people think that gay people wouldnt be able to do anything functionally and yet they do anyway.

They never said they settled for each other. Cam calls Mitch “the love of his life” several times and at one point Jay told Cam that he’s never seen Mitch happier than he is with Cam.

they are just as toxic as peter and Lois in family guy. (ironic, they look like those characters. Mitchel with red hair/ cam with brown hair 🤣). cam/peter always come up with some crazy shit and Mitchel/Lois enables him. i can't stand cam. everyone grown over the years. jay might have been hard on Mitchel but he learn to be more supportive. Claire learn how to put up with Phil silliness. Phil learns how to speak up more when something is bothering him. jay learn how to be more supportive with the people he loved, Gloria learn to be more patience and not be a hothead. she puts up with jay's dog because she loves jay. Hailey became a better person and not be a spoil brat. Luke learn how to be supportive to his family when they are at their lowest point. Alex learns how to relax more and come out of her shell. manny learn to be more confident in himself. i'm not sure what joe or lily learn (because i haven't finish the show yet; i'm on season 11). i feel like cam has not learn much. there were moments when he was there for Mitchel; i will give you that. but only after the sweat and tears that Mitchel had trying to prove his innocent. ( but i hate it every time Mitchel did something that he wasn't comfortable with to please cam, his husband would throw it back in his face because he didn't feed his ego). the writers did a good job with everyone else and it's like with cam and Mitchel, they couldn't think of anything or they were probably lazy. Or maybe they had to have one bad couple so us (the audience) can tell the different between a good relationship and a bad one. i got nothing against the actor himself (Eric Stonestreet). people say Mitchel is just as bad. well to be fair, cam brings out the worst in Mitchel in a way. you ever heard of the phrase "you make me a better person"?. notice how every couple on the show build each other up over the years. with cam and Mitchel, there is no building each other up. cam is always "me, me, me" so Mitchel has no choice to be like "what about me? me? me?", Mitchel has to lie by omission, and has to be manipulative to get his own way because god forbid if Mitchel tells cam the truth. (YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH) . cam might be the woman in the relationship but keep it mind he is the toxic "woman" in the relationship. the other women on the show makes sure that their husbands don't kill themselves. i hope that makes sense. cam reminds me of my aunt. i can't do nothing around her. if she catch me eating or just breathing, she will judge me for it. the relationship with Dede and Claire reminds me of my relationship with my mother but Dede is far worst. they both like picking favorites, make you feel like everything you do is wrong and when you call them out on it, they blame you for blaming them. (i would like to say that cam is funny sometimes; so it's not all "bad". but still. i would leave him if he was real)
the *it's like he never cried before "🤣🤣🤣🤣
I specially hate how they portray Cam because this show has a lot of important themes surrounding homophobia, like when Jay complains about not being comfortable about it and Mitch tells him he doesn’t need to go to the wedding then, which is so heartbreaking and real, but Cam being a terrible character takes away from the emotional point. It was supposed to showcase “these are just two people who love each other like any other, what is there to be so opposing about?” But instead it’s “the reason why Jay oppose is wrong but these two really shouldn’t get married”. It’s just a lost opportunity to make viewers who are kinda “neutral” when it comes to gay rights to not really have that moment of “wait, this doesn’t make any sense, what’s the problem to have with it?”
I swear I have never seen such an annoying and provoking character as Cam, it‘s horrible how manipulative, egocentric, self-centered, fake and childish he is. I know he is just a character in a Series, but there are actual people like him!

This all proves my point that I stand by and no one can change my mind about this:
Cam was lucky to have and be with Mitch and that Mitch loved him.
None of the characters and couples were perfect - all had their unlikable moments, qualities and ups and downs, but Mitchell is my favourite all the way through and he’s one of the few main characters who I say deserved better.
And Cam still had the audacity to blame Mitch😅
Damn Cam can be a bit toxic at times by giving Mitch the fault in the end for going to the party and ending up knowing Cam faked a break up lol
Was there a main reason Mitchell felt a lot of pressure just asking
None of the other of his gay friends comforted or even talked 2 Mitchell like they did with Cam when their friends thought they broken up & Mitchell didn't know Cam did a fake brake up 2 see how their friends would react & thought Mitchell was able 2 handle the break up well
Because he already knew cam would lie..
Maybe he felt that his friends won't be honest with him coz they already picked a side.
