- My question is what does it take to live well? In my experience you can fix much outside of yourself if you haven't fixed what's hurting your wellness. Jordan Peterson helped me get to the point I realized that, and I thought we could watch this clip together and see what we could learn from it together.

I am going to look back and see if I can find pictures of your transformation. I’ve seen many amazing carnivore transformations, but yours is really stunning. I’ve said it’s like you’ve aged backwards. It’s really mind-boggling. I want to do that! I have tried and felt the results and then my carb addiction gets me and I fall off. I want to do better. You are such an inspiration. Thank you. I believe your journey will encourage my son to try eating this way.
I've been in the carnivore diet going on 3 months and i feel so much better,not constipated or bloated,in the past i was so very constipated and bloated i was at my wit ends not knowing what to do , the doctors say eat more fiber,fruit veg. That did not work and got worse until my son sent me a video about carnivore and i love it now, now trying to get off the coffee any suggestions??
I also love shopping for high fatty meats and cooking,my husband has seen the difference in me and my skin more clearer,my mood and now hes on the carnivore with me.
For the coffee problem, the caffeine is the hardest part to quit so if going cold turkey is a bridge to far for you, start by switching to decaf. It still has some caffeine, but it should help you to ween yourself off, then keep getting a smaller serving(s) every few days.

Dante thank you great video today+++ Like you hugely influenced by Jordan Peterson. Shared a clip of his with a friend also with multiple sclerosis who agreed his advice was great regarding picking one small thing a day to do no matter how small that you can go to sleep that night with things a tiny bit better than when you woke up! This works for anyone and implement daily in the context of my life with MS. When I first heard that he was doing the carnivore diet I first thought it was shocking but knowing his smarts began to explore what it was and then just listened. Many influencers as they say but Dr Eric Westman I felt I could trust and took his teaching course about low carb keto in January of this year. Fast forward lost weight but never my goal (my health and MS my main concern)! June 1 started carnivore and though had cut most vegetables now none! And meal program I have done x 4 years (homebound after rib fracture and then pandemic lockdown) I have restarted cooking myself and teeny improvements. Also a Christian and following Christ and without Him and his grace and comfort and what I believe He has strengthened me daily I could never imagine. Eating carnivore a blessing to discover and then to hear you were a Christian I was encouraged more so... smile at your wife "Katie" (my name special - my Mum calls me"). Tough world today but being encouraged by a Christian that can speak humbly about this way of eating is a gift. Thank you! All the best to you and Katie from another in Canada. Jordan was blacklisted herein Canada so many I love thought my listening to him was silently disapproved of ... carnivore ... and my vocal faith also causing me a little in the way of eyebrow raises. Keep on keeping on... all life changing (always Jesus first:) as no idol above Him.

I struggle with Jordan Peterson. He has given some good advice, I am glad he helped you Dante. But he's also said some things that are damaging and wrong. Equating women with chaos and men with order for example. The stuff about makeup, women wear makeup to work to sexually inflame men. No, women do not wear makeup to work for that reason.
We wear it because it is expected and professional and if we don't we're asked if we don't feel well. When I was an administrative law judge in New York if I didn't show up with at least some makeup on, a professional look, I got questioned. I promise, I wasn't showing up to inflame any men. But Jordan thinks that women wearing makeup are doing it for sex.
I'm fairly certain I don't represent chaos. All I've done in my life is try to represent order but according to his worldview men are order and women are chaos and never shall the twain meet and that's how it is.
So yes, he has said some wise things, this clip is an example of that. But he's never addressed or apologized fo the damaging stuff he's put out into the world. His primarily male followers absorb it. They believe that women represent chaos and they represent order. That damages a lot of relationships. His deeply patriarchal world order is both inaccurate and harmful. It's reassuring to men, but it isn't accurate.
Every time you cite Peterson because I have respect for you, Dante, I try to approach it fairly. I wish he would acknowledge the things he has said that are over the top and have done harm. I wish he would apologize for them or clarify, explain.
You need to listen to him more. Perhaps read his books. You’ll better understand what he means and the incredible wisdom he shares
@@jodyjackson5475 no, Jody, I do not. I have read his books. Don't make assumptions that aren't warranted. I was an administrative law judge, I have a PhD of my own and I have read Peterson's work. You aren't addressing what I said. Perhaps you might wish to go back and read what I wrote. Do you believe that you are looking for sex when you put makeup on? Do you work in a professional setting where it is required? Do you believe men represent order and women represent chaos? That comes from his book which I did read.
If you believe these things it might be because you are traditional and subscribe to a patriarchal worldview. If that's the case and you are genuinely happy, I wish you well. His worldview is damaging to many. It affirms what many young men want to believe, that they are the superior sex, the dominant, that they are order and women are unruly chaos that have to be controlled. That sort of belief system is deeply reassuring to men who don't feel that they want to compete with women.
As I've already stated, he has helped people, I'm glad of that. But he should walk back some of the more damaging aspects of his philosophy. He should recognize that while applicable to the 17th and 18th century the idea that men represent order and women represent chaos is dated and erroneous.

What happened to all the women in charge? Why haven’t women been building a parallel society, with their own infrastructure and governance? Who built the world you live in, and why?

Both of my younger sisters and my mom have had much easier lives than I have had (and it’s been that way since birth), but I don’t blame it on “the matriarchy”.

Does your gut or bowels go back to normal ? I have to take prescription medication to just use the bathroom it’s horrible I’m bound to the house for 3 hours no matter what . Seems like meat makes it a little worse but I do eat everything else.
I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking. If you referring to the period often called keto-flu where your body is adjusting to eating more fat and not consuming sugar, yes it goes away. It tends to hang around longer if you continue to eat carbohydrates though, even just a little and little there.
The reason I started lion diet was because of my gut and bowels driving me crazy. I’ve had none of those problems since.

Good video. There's an episode on Seinfeld where he says " If you want to get to someone who doesn't like you, Live well . " or something to that effect. I found it humorous but true. With all that aside we should live well if for nothing else for ourselves. Life is short folks. Eat clean and stay happy .

lol, I’ve been called dago, wop, Guinea, but you know we Italians don’t get hurt feelings about those things. We get even… 😉
Seriously though, those things never bothered me.
I suppose the origin of the name of the worm has to do with Equatorial Guinea, a small country in west Africa, but that’s just an assumption.

You lost your hair to the carnivore diet or what happened?🤔
I started losing my hair in the crown area about 13 years ago, and I always said I would shave it if that ever started to happen, but I was in denial about it for a long time calling it a big cowlick. Once I lost the weight I decided to stop hiding behind my beard and started sporting a high and tight, but I still didn’t like the bald spot so one day I just went full shave mode and loved the look. I haven’t looked back.
@FerrignoFreedom I so a video when you have long hair and now you bold so I was thinking the carnivore diet maked your hair fall out .I saw a video where they said that hair falls out on this diet
