It’s weird that this is even an argument among academics. Human bodies are brilliant for our ability to adapt and thrive. Our amazing bodies (barring any unusual complications) can take energy, or protein or essential nutrients from anything we consume and serum levels do not accurately reflect what’s already in our cells and tissues. Veganism, carnivore, keto, paleo, caloric restriction, whatever other “diet” ALL have a dirty version that nobody feels good about, and a clean version where getting away from the micro doses of literal toxins in processed foods can heal the body. The focus on macros is missing the point in my opinion. Is it real food? Your body will use it.

Harvard has become a joke as a multinational corporate/ government mouthpiece. Duke has taken its place as the premiere higher ed institution. Since 1998 they have done research on Keto and Carnivore and had a Keto clinic founded in 2006 run by Dr Eric Westman that includes carnivore. My husband and I have been eating a carnivore diet after eating keto for two years. I still had gut issues on Keto that have disappeared in Carnivore. In just in three weeks we have seen big changes including the lifting of brain fog and joint pain disappearing. And for the first time I feel full and have no cravings. My husband just had his numbers checked by his doc and they are terrific. Even his l elevated sugar is coming down. Interestingly enough he eats no white sugar or sweets BUT he ate a lot of different fruit everyday-bananas, blueberries, melon, pineapple and dates and apples. He is 6’ 2” 180lbs so you’d never think this would be a problem, but it was!

Harvard personnel - both admins and professors - have already PROVED themselves nothing more than PAID PROMOTERS for the highest bidders in BOTH industry and government. Make this clear. We have an historical record over decades. It is COUNTERPRODUCTIVE to just sling around slang adjectives. I attended Harvard on scholarship. I am not guessing. "One liners online" are simply not useful at all. That is counterproductive. Ancel Keys was Harvard faculty and lied for the sugar and grain industries. He took money to lie to countless victimized Americans from his false "high perch" at Harvard. Ancel Keys was also a Pentagon contractor. That's not a coincidence. What we call "fastfood" and "TV dinners" today were military MRE's during WW2. None of this is "OK.' Americans must stop seeking "heroes" in DC, in industry, in universities, in mass media, in the Pentagon or anywhere else. Those "heroes" do not exist. Americans must presume EVERYONE "on TV" and "in universities" is lying for money. All of them. No exceptions. When the Carnival Barkers are barking, we must always ONLY follow the money.

Bench press multiple sets at 175lbs, shoulder press multiple reps at 100 lbs, dips machine multiple reps at 220 lbs curls multiple reps at 100 lbs. Most mornings we each eat 5 scrambled eggs fried in bacon grease or beef tallow with 2 beef patties (28 grams of protein in each 1/3 pound patty from Costtco). I drink 60 grams of whey protein (zero carb/zero sugar) at about 2 p.m. (Only because I am trying to build muscle). My son doesn't drink the protein. At about 7 p.m. we each eat a large steak either whole or chopped up and cooked with bacon. We eat large portions and this keeps us from being hungry. We drink zero carb electrolytes water a few times during the day. We are in the gym at least 5 days a week for an hour. To mix it up, we sometimes cook beef ribs (salt only to taste), crock pot cross rib roast cooked in water and salt, shreaded pork fried in bacon grease or shrimp fried in bacon fat or butter. We keep it simple! Two meals a day for each of us and I drink my whey protein for muscle growth. The trick is to eat and feel full. Dense meat keeps you satisfied and not hungry through the day. If we ever feel hungry, we cook up a beef patty and eat it like a cookie! We use an air fryer a lot and it has made cooking easy. We have NO intention of eating a standard diet again. The trade between feeling incredible and giving up the foods we loved and craved was an easy choice once we were about 5 months into this. We prefer to feel light, strong, and healthy. Most of our friends and family don't understand how we do it. 2 of my sisters in law (One a medical doctor and one a teacher) have joined us once they saw our results. Both of them are beyond happy with their transformations. The doctor even stopped smoking. The human body is amazing and it will adapt and repair itself once the bad influences are kicked out. I truly wish you the best. Keep it simple. Beef, pork, chicken, fish, seafood, eggs, butter, bacon, bacon fat, beef tallow, salt, and electrolytes water. My treat is a black coffee in the morning. My son's treat is one Coke Zero per day. Mix and match your meats and throw some eggs in sometimes. Eat cheap, fatty beef. We stick to cheap cuts for our budget. We each have our favorites. We started this to help my type 2 diabetic wife and my obese son. Sadly, my wife hasn't been able to do it. Sugar has her addicted. I am beyond proud of my son. You can do this!!!!

@@Onlylovelystuff I use the term animal-based only because I abhor the way the term "carnivore" tends to be abused by both sides of the debate. I consider myself and ALL human beings to be carnivorous entities. The only definition of the term "carnivore" that I espouse is the one used by biologists which is:
      1) an entity which relies on the flesh of animals for the majority (75% or more is the accepted amount) of it's food, and/or
      2) an entity which must consume some amount of animal flesh in order to sustain its life/health.
By part 2 of the definition ALL human beings are born carnivore in that there are nutrients we require that are not available via plant foods in the absence of ultra-processed foods and/or synthesized micronutrients. Any human being surviving in a primitive environment would not live long past breast milk without animal sourced foods.

The beauty of carnivore for me is that if I just want to eat, it's quick to make a simple meal and I don't have to go through a lot of steps. I save that when I have the energy and desire.

    Thank you, Dr. Hampton!
I have been on the carnivore diet for almost two years. I SUFFERED with acid reflux that was supposedly the result of my hiatal hernia. I couldn't even drink water without pain, and when I woke up in the morning, I felt like I was drowning in stomach acid. I felt absolutely miserable.
When I went to the gastroenterologist, he said that I could only take the prescribed PPI Pantoprazole for a maximum of three weeks. This made me desperate to find help. I searched CZcams and came across a video from Dr. Berry. I tried "Keto" for a week. Actually, it wasn't true Keto. I ate broccoli, spinach, red bell peppers, mushrooms, bean sprouts, and one other vegetable, but I can't recall what it was now. I also ate chicken breast and eggs (all cooked in cold-pressed sunflower oil). NO IMPROVEMENT. But, Dr. Berry had mentioned the word "carnivore" so I looked into that.
After watching more of his videos, I decided to try this crazy Carnivore thing, and after 3 days, my acid reflux was gone without having to take a PPI! Back pain and tendon pain was also gone! By day 4, my blood pressure, which had been out of control even after taking 2 Amlodipine a day was 108/63 without having taken medication for 24 hours because of a blood draw I was scheduled for that morning!
I have experienced over 40 improvements to my health since starting carnivore. I will NEVER go back to the standard, high carb diet that everyone likes to call "balanced".
I would rather trust you, the San, the Lakota, the Sami, the Inuit, the Hadzabe, the Maasai, and all the other carnivore/meat-based people groups, than the fools who see that intestinal issues, cancers, Type II diabetes, mental health issues, dementia, obesity, auto-immune issues, heart attacks and strokes are all on the rise, right along with fiber intake, while red meat and saturated fat intake is, and has been, on the decline, so saturated fat and cholesterol are evidently not causing these problems. Let the "experts" at Harvard keep spouting nonsense.
Thank you for your informative and concise video. It's these short videos that will win the ear of those who are searching. It was because of Dr. Berry's short videos that I found out about the Carnivore diet, and for that, I will be forever grateful.
So, please keep making short videos for the ones who may be searching for some relief. They are needed.

I get to sleep 7 to 8 hours a night which is something I've never been able to do. I no longer have acid reflux, I have so much energy I can't believe it even after a year on carnivore I am totally amazed about the little things. I'm down I think 60 lb now I'm not really counting now it's all in how I feel. I'm a pretty strict carnivore 90% beef and eggs, some fish, some chicken and lamb, butter, lard and sugar free bacon But mostly beef and eggs. It makes grocery shopping so easy and meal preparation is easy. Good luck all you new carivores

I am 50 years old, 150 days ago I was 295 lbs. now on carnivore.
Obviously this is just anecdotal, but after eating a standard American diet and feeling like complete garbage, I've tried eating the "healthy" diet over the years with some gains in weight loss but little to no improvement in the way i feel. I tried Keto and did feel better and weight loss increased. But it was hard to maintain and easy to fall into the trap of fake "keto friendly" foods which was just more processed garbage.
After starting carnivore 150 days ago, the change has been so profound and impactful both physically and mentally that I have no interest in going back. I haven't felt this good since my mid to late 20s. My quality of life has improved exponentially and keeps getting better. In my experience your body pretty quickly tells you when something is wrong, and right now it is telling me to keep doing what I am doing.

That is no exaggeration or way to live. Now, if I have gas, it is because of garlic or some dairy I added to my food. I do not do that very often, my life is much more livable now and I feel great. Been carnivore for 9 months, I’m off ALL medications, feel great, no brain fog and lost some weight. I don’t use a scale but my clothes fit loosely now where before they didn’t. Oh yea, I’m 64 year old male. Carnivore is not easy at first but it gets easier the longer you stick with it!!!

Thank you for this great video. Last year at this time, I was trying to do what I thought was the best for my health by eating less meat, and loading up on daily smoothies with almond milk, spinach, almond butter and oats and I couldn’t walk 1/8 of a mile to my library. I had to plan out my time if I needed to go to a store, or any activity, really, because I had limited steps; the pain in my joints, particularly my knees, was excruciating. Depression, poor sleep, and no energy were my daily norms. I don’t take any prescription medications but was considering it as the pain and fatigue was so awful, but as a last resort and out of desperation I tried the carnivore diet, because I thought “what do I have to lose?” Well what I have lost so far is 65 pounds, my joint pain and inflammation are almost non-existent, I have no more headaches, and LOTS of energy. I turned 60 this year and now enjoy hiking, swimming, kayaking, can zip to the library and back in just a few minutes, and never even think about how many steps I have in reserve. Why would I ever go back to the me of last year? Just by eating beef (which we purchase by the half cow from a farm 10 miles away), butter, eggs and heavy cream (from another local farm), as well as lots of seafood, I have a whole new lease on life! It’s better to ignore the naysayers who are either paid, ignorant, or too arrogant and proud to admit that eating an animal-based diet is optimal - some individuals even insist that eating a carnivore diet is “male aggressive and right-wing”!!! That last one leaves me speechless…but it shows the lengths to which the naysayers will go in order to push their agenda. There is no profit in good health, so an animal-based or carnivore diets will continue to be squashed by those who most benefit from the poor health of many in our society. Thank you again, Dr. Tony, for providing such informative content.

Due to reasons I was away from being able to eat my usual carnivore/animal based diet. In 3 weeks I have gained 20lbs, have severe gut pain, bathroom issues, sore throat, whole body rash, raised blood pressure, a migraine and now in a "type two diabetic " state, as my blood sugar is over 120. The "Standard American Diet" has done nothing but make me sick again.

Great video Dr. Hampton. ☺️ Carnivore has healed so much for me! I started off carnivore in hopes to reverse my fibrocystic breast masses that have built up over 6 years eating half a dry skinless chicken breast piece a day with half cup of broccoli and little bit of wheat noodles. We are told don’t eat very much meat- so the world is almost vegan just about. I would eat red canbbage too- cooked it and ate cabbage about 3 times a week. That was about it. So I was mainly chicken, broccoli, and little wheat noodles. So from age 40-46 I started getting all that “aging” health issue mess- and the fibrocystic breast “disease” started and kept building up! When I hit age 46 I was done with it! The fibrocystic masses were getting me scares- and I started getting huge painful breast cysts too! One was around 2” long and 1” wide! Docs would say, “we don’t know what causes fibrocystic breasts disease” and “fibrocystic breasts is now normal because everyone is getting it” and “fibrocystic breast could turn into cancer” and “there is nothing you can do for fibrocystic breasts” and “diet doesn’t cause fibrocystic breasts!” I was gaining weight too and by summer of 2022 I hit perimenopause at age 46 and got every symptom you could think of. My joints were hurting too, no sleep at night, dizzy at times, it was ridiculous! I know it had to be diet! Little did I know that all the other health issues I had all my life, in addition to this mess listed above, was all due to diet!
I went searching online and found the truth of my fibrocystic problem! Found out cruciferous veggies (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and asparagus) are all cruciferous veggies that block natural iodine absorption found in foods! And if you become depleted in iodine it messes up your thyroid which controls all- even hormones! And all organs need iodine including breasts! They swell if you are deficient! And I read these cruciferous veggies can cause cancer due to lack of iodine in body since they block absorption! Bingo! We are all being told to eat cruciferous veggies, that they can prevent cancer, and to eat lots of it including broccoli!! But in fact they are causing cancer and I truly feel it is causing all the fibrocystic breast cases that have been escalating lately that we are seeing! When I post about this and ladies write back saying they too had fibrocystic breasts, I ask, “do you eat cruciferous veggies, especially broccoli” and they all have said, “YES!”
I did more research and found carnivore! I Jumped right in! In 6-8 weeks I lost 45 pounds! My perimenopause reversed! In fact don’t even get PMS symptoms and my cycle is perfectly paced! And so much more reversed that I started writing it down! And yes, my fibrocystic breast masses shrank!
I share my progress because I want people to see how carnivore can heal so much and most of these things are commonly healed for many, not just me! I want to help and this is how I do- by sharing. No I am not paid to do this, I just want to help people see and be aware of what carnivore can do!
I do update this list as I have been on carnivore (more lion diet version) for 1 year and 9 months now. I feel this has helped so many decide if they should try carnivore. I always say go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry- my three most favorite doctors. They are truly amazing! I call them my carnivore doctors! ☺️
    * No more perimenopause- completely reversed!
*Period cycles all timed perfect with 4 week intervals. And no PMS symptoms, but only the actual menstrual cycle itself!
    *No more night sweats
*No more waking every 2 hours at night!
*It used to take me 20 minutes or longer to fall asleep at night when I would first go to bed at night- before carnivore. Now it takes like a minute or less. Haven’t noticed since I am out fast!
    *No more life long eczema
*No more cold hands (may have been Reynold’s disease, never diagnosed.)
*No more cold body temp in general! Used to feel like a reptile - only warm in texas sun. (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.)
*No more IBS symptoms (gas, bloating, stomach pain, constipation, diarrhea)
*No more feeling low energy by 12pm and zombie by 4pm
*No more purple looking hands in winter (may have been Raynaud’s disease, never diagnosed.)
    *No more brain fog
*No more arthritis that I felt in hands, knees, and hips- or elbows
*used to have sore hips when sleeping on my side. No more!
*Lost 45+ pounds from former baby weight and peri menopause weight.
*Always had 20/20 vision with slight stigmatism- but in March doctor said my stigmatism is reversing!
*Don’t sunburn as easily anymore and tan well.
*Wrinkles around eyes seem to be much less. I am 47 and look like I am in early 30’s.
*Gums look super healthy. Dentist seems irritated as my teeth are not dirty when cleaning every six months. Think they know they won’t make money off me.
*No more sore chest from monthly periods- no swelling feeling of fullness or discomfort that prevented me from sleeping on my stomach. Now I sleep every night on my stomach!
*Fibrocystic Breast issues reversing! Almost all gone after 6 years of buildup!
*no cravings unless they are for meat
*no more angina symptoms before a period- which started about 3 years ago.
*No more feeling weak like almost passing out and dizzy around ovulation and periods when walking around.
    * no more fingers swelling- that started a few years ago- rings kept being tight- is pattern I noticed. One ring I had resized larger and it’s super loose now. Will have to resize smaller.
*feel stronger- now lifting barbells not just hands weights. Dr. Baker said since I am 46, and 5’7” at 122lbs- need more resistance training to add more muscle weight. . So bought a 47lb barbell off Amazon and have 90 extra pounds added to it. Will continue to progress with that.
*Before carnivore- i had started growing grey hairs in one of my eyebrows, few hairs at a time, but no grey in my blonde hair yet - but assumed it was coming. Now on carnivore I have had no new grey hairs growing in eye brows and still no grey hair in my natural blonde hair. And in the sun it gets super light highlights.
    * no more body odor!
    * I used to get a little anxiety with large crowds- like if attending special events- but since on carnivore I don’t get it that much.
*I was a bit OCD before carnivore, but so much more relaxed so barely like that.
    * I was a relaxed person before, but somehow am even more relaxed and never stress about things.
*Since I was a young child my sense of smell has been terrible. But not even a month in on carnivore my sense of smell has gone crazy! I smell things even far away! Amazing!
*no more allergies! I was allergic to cedar and oak pollens- and mold- but since carnivore I am no longer reacting to those outdoor pollens which is amazing!
    * I have had no more issues from ear wax build up. Had it twice after having kids and docs would say it was a hormonal problem. Carnivore cured that too!
*Veins in my arms look healthier. They were almost invisible before.
*Legs no longer hurt on longer road trips or plane rides!
*I used to get a popping sounds in my right shoulder when lifting weights. Was probably a pulled ligament. That is now gone!
*I have been lactose intolerant since I was a kid, and I feel my nails are a bit stronger than before. They do break if I catch them on things but I feel they are getting stronger on carnivore.
*My teeth look more white on carnivore.
*My blood pressure has improved on carnivore. 6 years before carnivore up to starting carnivore my blood pressure was increasing. Now on carnivore it is back to normal like when I was younger. Last reading it was 100/75 which is awesome!
*i used to get eye twitches in my eye lids, but that is gone.
    * at times when trying to fall asleep I would close my eyes and at times felt dizzy like falling feeling or spinning. But haven’t has that since I have been on carnivore for 12 months.
*the skin on the heals of my feet are no longer cracked and dry!
*little leak from sneezing or coughing that ladies get from estrogen dominance is gone on carnivore! Hormones balanced so no more estrogen dominance!
*The top inner corner of both my larger toes have felt a little numb for years. Never had it diagnosed. But being 1 year on carnivore I no longer feel that numbness! My nerves have healed in that spot on both toes! Crazy!
*My slightly receding gums behind my center bottom front teeth have rebuilt so gums all over are super healthy! I have flossed daily for years, but gums look even healthier!
*my skin on my face isn’t as oily as it used to be.
*My hair used to be super oily if not washed daily, but carnivore has regulated my hair so I can now go days without having to wash it- doesn’t get oily after one day like before! (Newest update added!)
Want to mention if you start to get any allergy symptoms further into carnivore you may have histamine intolerance. Happened to me if I ate smoked meats daily for months straight. Went back to baking my meats and all the symptoms went away! Look into histamine intolerance when starting carnivore to make sure you know symptoms and not to eat smoked aged meats daily like I did if you get symptoms. Eat smoked meats less often.
I do go outside daily for at least an hour a day during week and several hours on weekends if possible! I try to stay on consistent sleeping schedule of 6-8 hours of sleep and sleep like a bear!☺️
So there you go! ☺️ I hope this helps people on their journey to fins out what works for them! Carnivore is working for everyone that tries. Go watch Dr. Baker, Dr. Chaffee, and Dr. Berry! And go visit Kerry’s channel at Homesteadhow! We love him too! ☺️

Those research teams were essentially driven to find funding any way they could - from big pharma, the processed food industry, sugar and corn, grain, any businesses or organisations that had the financial ability to fund the research outcomes the outside organisations wanted to see..Loss of integrity, loss of independence, compromising values and ethics - all in the service of keeping research teams afloat… such a hard path…

A physician asked how I lost 28 pounds. After I said, carnivore she said, be careful because although initially your body will burn fat stores to lose weight, the intake of animal fats and proteins will cause higher LDL levels which in turn clog up your arteries giving a higher risk of cardiac issues. 😭 I have had three SCAD heart attacks in the past. First one when I was 38, then 40 and my last one at 50. I’m a 59 yo female. I always considered myself fit and healthy. SCAD is relatively unknown. My previous diet, I believed healthy, using rapeseed oil, plenty of veggies and limiting red meat and cooking from scratch. I really don’t know if there is a connection between SCAD and diet BUT since being carnivore I have never FELT better. No reflux, healed IBS, no toenail fungus or cracked heals (sorry 🤮) etc. Having my bloods done soon. I may get lectured about LDL levels and if I do, I may just have to smile and wave 👋

I've lost a lot of weight in over 2 years on keto and then carnivore - late last year I was no longer obese. I was able to wear size 34 jeans, which I hadn't worn since high school (I'd needed size 44 waist 2 years ago). The other day, I tried on size 32 jeans - and they snapped and zipped up. They weren't cutting off my circulation, but they were a little too snug. I bet later this year I'll be able to wear them okay. I haven't worn size 32 jeans since 8th or 9th grade! I feel great. I have tons of energy. I sleep well. I love the carnivore diet.

As a carnivore for three months I am feeling a great deal better than I was eating the standard food pyramid . I am a type 2 diabetic blood sugars were varying between 16 and 19 normal being below 6. I developed peripheral neuropathy which spread gradually from my left foot to my right foot to my left hand and finally my right hand. And then started intensifying and crawling up to my knees and wrists I wore socks to help my feet and compression gloves to be able to sleep. The pain gradually increased to the point where I was taking too much over counter pain killers and asked the doctor for something stronger I got codeine and paracetamol to which I added aspirin . Restless legs at night because of the pain destroyed my sleep and my health was generally deteriorating. I had Angina, anxiety depression and high blood pressure among others. Now I have managed to drop most of my blood pressure meds and my blood sugar is solidly at 7.5 to 8 still not perfect but heading in the right direction! The anxiety angina and depression are things of the past and I sleep much better. The neuropathy is not gone but has reduced to the point where it if bearable. I also have fibromyalgia which has seriously limited my mobility but I find I can move better and stand for more than 20 seconds. My aim is to be medication free by the end of the year. Weight loss was not my aim but I do need it. I have lost round about 30 kg / 60 lbs maybe more but my scale died so not absolutely sure. All in all dropping the carbs has greatly benefited my health overall. I am 67 starting weight round about 137kg

    - Vegans are ideologically minded people who cannot free themselves from their dogmatic beliefs
    - Free people are open to change and open to new ideas. Hence, a free thinker is able to become a carnivore when he starts to escape from mainstream narratives and when he starts to dig deeper into healthy nutrition.
    We all have our constraints.
Some constraints come from within ourselves while others come from the outside.
Good is that we all will be happy with our so called “choices” and decisions. No matter if our choices make sense on an objective level, we will be happily promoting and defending them.

There are some communication problems with your statements. WTF are you trying to say? SAD is normal? Vegans are just lacking in brain power because of lack of saturated fat with plant based diet that makes the cognitive ability of the brain even worse. Is it normal for 77% of a population of mammals to be unhealthy and suffering a lot of ailments and early death which is the human condition in 2024 ? Almost nobody does the right thing for their health or welfare in the USA.This is clearly demonstrated because every town and city has an increasing population of homeless mental cases.
I allow my body to defend the carnivore way of eating. I share the knowledge and keep it short if people ask. I can assess a person's health within a few seconds of seeing them. This evolved knowledge is available to all carnivores. If a prey is exhibiting signs of weakness or inattentiveness it is potentially the next meat for us carnivores and if another species of carnivore has signs of weakness we will take it out which means more prey animals for us to eat. We humans really have no choice in what to eat. Anything other than meat is a clear choice to slow death which involves a lot of pain and suffering as well as mental torture.

Thank you Dr Hampton for continuing to be a voice of truth. Thank you for your love for people, and your integrity, courage and honesty.
Been carnivore 15 months and never felt better. All pain is gone, thinking clear, grew more muscle, suspected diabetes gone, all bloods show great health, no more meds or health shop cures needed. Fitter and more active, happier, lost 20kg of fat, and gone down from size 18 to size 10. There's far more to the list of benefits to me too. I'm a 70 year old grandma.
I did carnivore to reduce intolerable inflammation pain. It worked.
    I'm never going back.

Since I started carnivore diet, my health immediately improved. Lost some weight, chronic fatigue has gone, chronic skin itching has gone in just a week, Chronic muscle pain has gone, my skin health has so much improved, my teeth became stronger and no pain when brushing, no more bad breath, my hands and feet got warmer, my bowl condition is amazing never been better, no abdomen pain or back pain during my period, no hunger and so much energy! So I don’t trust doctors who speak against to eating meat and animal fat. 🤭

I had a physical last year whereby my blood tests, according to my doctor, were cause for concern. I was doing keto and the doctor said I should stop eating eggs and red meat. I ignored him and continued to eat a lot of eggs and red meat. A year later my LDL and total cholesterol went down, my triglycerides went down, and my HDL went up. He assumed it was because I followed his advice. When I told him what I was eating the dumbfounded look on his face was priceless.
