Gayle King under fire for defending Justin Timberlake after drink-driving arrest

- ‘To Di For’ podcast host Kinsey Schofield has hit out at CBS Morning’s co-host Gayle King for defending Justin Timberlake after he was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the Hamptons earlier this week.
“I have a lot of sympathy for him but I can’t understand Gayle King going on TV defending somebody driving while under the influence,” Ms Schofield told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“Yes I loved this guy while growing up, but you should never get behind the wheel of a car after consuming alcohol," she said.
According to reports Timberlake claimed to have had one martini and was following friends home.
After being arrested and taken to East Hampton police station, he refused a breath test and was later released without bond.
His next court date is scheduled for July 26.
I do not listen to a word Gayle says.

He refused to take the breathalyzer and he failed the roadside tests. That’s 100% guaranteed loss of license. I’m not sure for how long. In Colorado it would be a year, even for his first offense. Someone’s having a mid life crises. After Brits book, he should have gone incognito for at least 5 years, but he didn’t. Now he’s having shit ticket sales. Why can’t these people ever just retire? Take the millions and go live a happy life. Perhaps their narcissism requires feeding and they need people screaming their name to feel worthy and powerful.

Because you can drink and drive and be over the limit without being drunk. Are you drunk after three glasses of wine? No. But over the limit, yes. Drinking and driving illegally. Drink driving. Not every person has drunk drive. It should be taken seriously. It should be something that people are embarrassed and ashamed to be doing or at the very least to be caught doing, if they don't care if other people are hurt. There is a huge amount of carnage and misery and death caused by people drunk driving.
