I for one really do understand exactly what you mean with traxxas.... there awesome looking and preform great AFTER you upgrade..... and at the price you have to pay for one new and then almost immediately start buying an upgraded gear..... no way buddy..... no way... if they're cheeping out on something as simple as that what's that say about the rest of it. This outcast will 💯 be my next purchase. What a great rig bro can't wait to get mine.😊

You absolutely made the right choice....I got one a couple weeks ago and she's a monster. Unbelievably fast with the 30 tooth pinion. I did switch out the esc and motor to a max 5 and a 840 kv motor and it's amazing. Thing is tough as hell haven't had anything break.. take it easy bro. Great video.

I had an exb kraton roller in 2022 with a Castle 800kv and esc brand-new ran it like 3 times put away and sold it. Bought my first outcast v2 exb today rtr

Hello fellow Canuck ! Loving my XMaxx but did alot to it to get it decent. Got the xrt this year... servo and steering crapped out on me 1st 2nd and 3rd run so building it up also. Have the kraton 6s and did the total upgrading (like you did actually). The new 8s Kraton is my next one but i think the Outcast might be tougher with that shorter wheelbase. Enjoy
I love 8s rigges I have 2 outcast 8s exb and v2 I have a x maxx but it just keeps eating gears I think arrma trucks look really good and traxxas looks like more toyish but I do like it when I keep it running the x maxx is grate.I think 1/5th scale is great I've got 6 and still want more lol keep up the good work 👍

The customer service is definitely un matched. I bought a kraton 6S v5 and it came with a warped motor mount. I ran it the first time I didn't know that it was warped and it messed up the motor poll. I emailed them and within a day I had an answer and I took pictures of the motor mount and sent it to them within two weeks I already had the new parts
Amazing dude, I wish i waited for the V2 RTR's to come out but i ended up falling for the sale they did the month earlier so i have the original Outcast 8s EXB roller. But i don't want to sell mine to get one of these. I plan to put a Hobbywing Max 5 G2 with 5690SD G2 1,250KV brushless combo or maybe a Spektrum Firma 160A\1,100KV combo for mine early next year. Update: I feel the same as you do with Traxxas vs Arrma i want to get either a 4-Tec 2.0 VXL or a Vendetta and i feel the Vendetta is a better deal and it doesn't need anything to me vs the 4-Tec which needs a motor fan and heatsink also a esc fan.

I don't see anything they make that interests me, I only would do a video w/ one as an out of the box heads up rip. End of the day, it's just a solid truck! My all around favorite, I always take one with.

I used to love traxxas trucks when they were the only commonly available and supported option for basher. Now that they have competition I buy arrma instead.
I find my bone stock arrma trucks are as durable as a traxxas that’s been rebuilt with all the RPM parts.
I’ve only found need to upgrade a couple parts on the arrma trucks, servo on the granite 4x4, servo mount on the 6s Outcast, shock rod ends on thr 6s outcast (I have the V2. v3 and up don’t need that upgrade), versus having to upgrade all 8 suspension arms, hinge pins, hub/knuckles, entire shock, body mounts, rear bumpers, and keep a healthy supply of the plastic axles for when they break every couple hours of run time, because the metal upgrades just bend, on the traxxas trucks.
I have had 4 of each brand, and I’m down to 3 of each brand now. Guess which ones are collecting dust in the garage….

I believe Duperbash mentioned in one of his videos. For $1k... EXB Arrma with an XMaxx. Just looking at the parts you get with them. the aluminum parts you get doesn't even compare with XMaxx. Dollar for dollar the outcast has a much better platform and gets so much more. And I totally agree with him. If that makes sense.

I just cant get into the Outcast. Appearance wise i find nothing attractive about it. Especially how much of the chassis is visible under the body. But the crazy thing is i absolutely love the Infraction lol. Great video as always 💪
Interesting different people have different experiences. I find the XRT pretty durable. My Outcast 8S EXB I find a bit easy to break, but I am sending it 30 ft high. so... 🤷♂
Dude I had my esc go and had to be sent back, receiver was very glitchy, 2 holes in the chassis, chips out of the skid plate, stock pinion and spur chipped, and my wing mount broke just ripping along the grass.
I really enjoyed that truck on the first few drives until I started jumping it.
@@JasonPerrinRCVlogs Yeah, I hear you, the wing mount is garbage, I've snapped ears off the servo, the skid plate has to be replaced every 20 packs or so, Traxxas electronics are pretty iffy, I think I broke a spur or idler gear too, I can't remember.
can you please add a size comparison to other arrma cars like 1/10th scale etc
Can it do backflips easily with stock gearing and all stock setup?

Im so confused. Im allowing myself 1 new RC for 2024. So this comes out, the 8S Kraton, and Mojave 4S...Really like all 3, but being honest, just cant afford to buy all 3 😢. I do upgrades throughout the year, so eventually is pimp. So guys, please help a brother out...Which 1? All I own is Arrma's, so no random Traxxas stuff! Thanks in advance!
so what your saying is it doesn't wheelie as much as the 6s outcast cause of the weight of it just got the kraton 8s rtr last week and its very nimble for such a big truck

For myself the XRT was a beast out of the box. I was a novice and didn’t have much control when i got it. I bashed the heck out of it and nothing broke. I ran into curbs, and had some hard landings on the wing mount and every where else. No breakage, your experience is your experience don’t ruin it for others by saying something is going to break out of the box. I have Arma kraton also;so don’t say i am just a traxxas fan. I just like rc vehicles and if it’s good it’s good if it’s bad then it’s bad but don’t generalize and put out stuff that may or may not be true for others that own the vehicle you’re talking about. This was not meant in anger just informative on what you put out into the world. Peace
Had many traxxas vehicles price and quality are not there both hobby shops go to have traxxas cars in boxs for cheap turned in or on the bench brand new that need repair nie looking but just garbage.
