This was super helpful. I just got a brand new second hand spektrum esc with the grey top and was struggling to program it. It turns out the settings on this esc are different to the older esc

The double A batteries, hope them rechargeable. I won't want to be throwing away batteries that look so good with logo Arrma on it. That is just me saying, love Arrma
This tech should have been all blue tooth so the user can use a smart phone app or a PC. I'm not touching this on my new EXB V2 until they announce a more user friendly format or eliminate the update issue.

I update my box and it still don’t work on my out cast I think it’s the new programming system arrma decided to put in. Still not sure why I can’t use my programmer so I had to do it manually. Thanks for the video 👍🏽

I have not looked into it yet but I will look into it.
I have the same issue with my Outcast 8s V2, I emailed support and they are aware of the issue but no ETA of when it will be addressed.

Hello question for yea could i have a bad esc my new one won’t even calibrate no idea all new electronics besides the motor everything else went up in smoke
I haven’t heard of these going up in smoke but I’d reach out to horizon about the issue. They may send you a replacement.
My program card said the same thing on this esc and it’s got the current update. I can not figure it out. Yours is current to 1.0.10
im having the same problem with my outcast 8s v2 my update is same cant update a newer version and still same message
Did you also notice the 11th setting that’s not specified in the manual. Not sure what it is.

I just picked up an arrma Kraton 8s and in my opinion it's a bit slow. I also have a losi dbxl-e that absolutely rips compared to the Kraton. Punch level is maxed out. Any ideas what the issue could be?
My esc keeps flashing red when I cut it on. I'm always left with having to recalibrate and then I'm good to go. Any reason why it does that?

Mine wont calibrate. Ido the steps but it doesnt beep or flash. Just stays beeping flashing red until I hit the set button then nothing
you didn't need to open up the radio box and do a bind with the receiver ?
And that's why I don't use the program card for my spectrum 150amp esc.
There is a way to update the firmware with a Windows PC and micro USB to USB connector. Not very hard. Will solve this problem.

They came out with a firmware update for the program card.

Brother you the only one that’s has this video with the actual car. I have one question. Why is my car nearly not turning. It’s like at 25% steering radius. 2 hours old have not run it yet. I think trying to bind it I messed with something on my servo amp or something is wrong out the box. Please help. Got to hit reverse on a 2 car lane. That’s not normal

Quick question is there a way to reset esc to factory mode. I’m thinking dude messed with the esc tuning.
Figured all programming but only turning sharply in air. On ground it’s like the servo to weak. But it’s new so how’s it possible. I’ll be waiting if you bless us with it. Nothing on the internet for this exb 8s versions. Haven’t ran it. Embarrassing picking it up to turn it around in a tight spot. It barely turns once a lil weight on the servo it seems. Thanks for the good content regardless of my fix. You speak clear and simple. Most theses brains say a bunch of nothings. God bless.
@@luisfontanez1770 I see what you mean. You can check the BEC but mine was already on the highest setting. That will give the servo and fan more power if you turn it up to 8.4 I believe. I will tell you that the servo is not super strong but good enough. I ran power hobby 65 I believe in my other 1/5 I had.

Great video. Yeah I'm gonna keep mine on all factory setting when I get it. How do you like those cheap Hoovo batteries? I think they are the worst inhad issues with them twice. You won't get the full power of that kraton with those batteries. SMC and gens ace bashers are best. 👍👊
I got mine I love it but the low voltage setting is too high. Needs to go to at least medium
@@user-ig1tt1jq9n yes exactly. Shuts off to fast around 3.8V just under 3.5 is ok. Won't do any harm to your packs as long as they are healthy. Under 3V is bad
Nice rig dude, and I've never seen ARRMA branded batteries bfor. I would not use them, I would keep those just bcuz I have never seen them before.
