    ● FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
    1. Is this really your handwriting?
Yes, when I’m not in a rush.
    2. Do you still maintain this kind of handwriting when you’re in a rush?
No, it becomes sloppier. It’s hard to make all the letterforms consistent when I’m rushing.
    3. Do you write like this when you take notes during class lectures?
Most of the time, yes. However, it also depends on the teacher and the amount of information they are giving throughout the lecture.
    - If the teacher talks less and/or creates summarized bullet points on the PowerPoint slides, then I can write as neatly as the one shown in this video.
    - If the teacher talks fast and has a lot of input, my handwriting becomes messy. By messy, I mean my “chicken scratch way” of writing. Messy notes are written on scratch papers, but I always make sure that I rewrite them in my notebook during my free time. Rewriting not only makes my notes look neat and organized, but it also helps me to retain information and improve my memory. Transferring can be time-consuming, but I’d rather invest my energy into something that contributes to my growth and knowledge.
    4. How did you learn to write like this?
We had handwriting classes in grade school. Handwriting class was one of the subjects included in the school’s curriculum (just like math, but it did not involve as many neurons!). During those days, I worked on multiple worksheets daily. Somehow, I adapted the handwriting style that was taught to me and it has become a habit since then. As my handwriting teacher would always say, “Write neatly until it becomes as natural as breathing.”
    5. How do you hold your pen?
Thumb tuck grip: my thumb is tucked under my index finger.
    6. How are you able to finish long essays during exams?
I usually write a draft first with my chicken scratch handwriting. Then, I rewrite it as quickly and neatly as I can. I always make sure my handwriting looks legible for the teacher’s eyes. Although the content of the essay is what truly matters, I still believe that the handwriting has an influence on the examiner. I think a teacher will appreciate the work more if it’s written neatly; although I have to admit, I am usually one of the students who finishes writing last. (But I’m still able to finish it on time, so what’s the harm?)
    7. What’s your favorite pen?
The MUJI smooth gel ink ballpoint pen

      @jamesaritchie1 Před 2 lety

@@tp8263 It shouldn't be necessary. Very, very, very few people cross a zero because there should never be a spot in writing where you write a zero without other numbers around it. Ninety-nine times out of a hundred, you should spell out numbers, and write "zero", not 0. When you get to numbers large enough to write without spelling them out, context will stop anyone from being confused.

There's only one way to do anything well, and handwriting is no exception. You practice, practice, practice, and then practice some more. There are many videos that teach how to practice properly, how to hold a pen, and how to use a pen, which is not as easy as most think. If you really want to be good, you write with your arm, not with your fingers and wrist. But it all comes down to proper practice day after day. Anything worth doing requires a lot of practice.

If you have a job, you can afford a fountain pen. You can get one that writes very well for under ten bucks. You can, in fact, afford a very expensive fountain pen. You just have to learn how to save a few dollars a week, and be patient. We can each save different amounts, of course, but even five dollars a week can add up.
A few years ago, we had a serious cash flow problem, and I couldn't justify buying a good, gold nib fountain pen. So I stopped drinking coffee, soda, and bottled water when away from home, and saved ten dollars a week. I put it in a locked bank account for two years. When I was allowed to take it out, I bought a six hundred and fifty dollar Visconti, a two hundred and fifty dollar Pilot, and a Platinum 3776 that cost roughly a hundred dollars, though I think I had to add a few dollars to get it, so it was probably a bit more than that. Very nice pens, all three for ten dollars a week.

People say handwriting describes a person's character, she's an angel, cute, lovely, innocent, she is just like a child bcz of her cuteness.. She loves to read books and listen to music.. This is what I can say by watching her handwriting

I actually do my 4s differently again.
I do it sort of like the second one, but the vertical stick on the left slants to the right, like "4", but doesn't actually touch the other stick.

A Dryden pen can be good, but it can also have a horrible nib on it. It is far from the best choice out there in the same price range.
