1. Is this really your handwriting?
Yes, when I’m not in a rush.
2. Do you still maintain this kind of handwriting when you’re in a rush?
No, it becomes sloppier. It’s hard to make all the letterforms consistent when I’m rushing.
3. Do you write like this when you take notes during class lectures?
Most of the time, yes. However, it also depends on the teacher and the amount of information they are giving throughout the lecture.
If the teacher talks less and/or creates summarized bullet points on the PowerPoint slides, then I can write as neatly as the one shown in this video.
If the teacher talks fast and has a lot of input, my handwriting becomes messy. By messy, I mean my “chicken scratch way” of writing. Messy notes are written on scratch papers, but I always make sure that I rewrite them in my notebook during my free time. Rewriting not only makes my notes look neat and organized, but it also helps me to retain information and improve my memory. Transferring can be time-consuming, but I’d rather invest my energy into something that contributes to my growth and knowledge.
4. How did you learn to write like this?
We had handwriting classes in grade school. Handwriting class was one of the subjects included in the school’s curriculum (just like math, but it did not involve as many neurons!). During those days, I worked on multiple worksheets daily. Somehow, I adapted the handwriting style that was taught to me and it has become a habit since then. As my handwriting teacher would always say, “Write neatly until it becomes as natural as breathing.”
5. How do you hold your pen?
Thumb tuck grip: my thumb is tucked under my index finger.
6. How are you able to finish long essays during exams?
I usually write a draft first with my chicken scratch handwriting. Then, I rewrite it as quickly and neatly as I can. I always make sure my handwriting looks legible for the teacher’s eyes. Although the content of the essay is what truly matters, I still believe that the handwriting has an influence on the examiner. I think a teacher will appreciate the work more if it’s written neatly; although I have to admit, I am usually one of the students who finishes writing last. (But I’m still able to finish it on time, so what’s the harm?)

I use the LePen 0.05 and this may sound stupid but I don’t know how to use it, at first it’s really smooth and easy no problems but after 5 minutes there is like no ink coming out I don’t know If I’m using it incorrectly or if that’s just how the pen works. Could please explain what is the problem or if I’m doing it wrong or whatever. Many thanks

Blank paper is my archnemisis. I've always written with the paper literally perpendicular to me and I crouch over it like Gollum so when I come up for air what I thought was a straight line is actually a damn rainbow

I’ve had this problem since a young child and since I’m left handed my teachers have grown to accept that. I remember I was in 2nd grade and we were learning cursive and my teacher told me that I needed to re-do my sentences because the letters weren’t slanted right but that was difficult for me since I was the only left handed in my class and slanting letters right when you’re left handed is tough. She asked me what handed I am so I of course said left and she went with it and said she’ll just ignore the non-slant. It was kinda rude that I was in 2nd grade and she make me re-do the paper when we just learned cursive that day and my letters weren’t slanted now that I think about it. Though cursive is different from normal letters, I just felt the need to share that.

I have another tip: tilt the paper in the same way you’re writing so that your letters will stay straight
I'm a lefty and this is exactly what I do. I have to tilt paper to not smudge the ink or see where I write and I tilt it in the direction of my writing. Works wonders..

Your handwriting is too perfect to believe. If you truly write this well you are amazing. I've never seen penmanship this good.
I have used the second method to write and it has the advantage that you can use different fonts comfortably, and the lines in the background do not run the risk of moving. The only care you have to have, is to make the lines thicker so that they show through the paper.
I got it recommended when I was writing on plain paper.....🤔 Is CZcams spying on me 🤨

You could also fold the bottom edge of the paper up but don’t crease it and use it as a guide and then just slightly unfold it for the next line, kind of like roll it up

i think you should start over with the alphabets and try to write in a consistent font and once you're done with that, write like normal with those alphabets.
I do it that i use oined paper and put a light line between the lines and write and practise and i gotmused to writing all my letters the same size now :)

Great vid! Didn't think of some of these. You could also use washi tape or faintly sticky painters tape. Sticky notes are also good because they won't tear your paper when removed.

I was writing on a blank paper yesterday for a project and this came up in my recommendations...plus my mom was telling me to rewrite and I was getting bored to write everything again-

its not about how to write straight right now, its about your handwriting which is perfect, beautiful, neat, fabulous, gorgeous, cute and etc☺

for option 1 - you also need to leave space for tall and hanging letters, if you don't you'll try to fix it and it just looks a bit messy. if you're lucky you might get it look neat.
(also, my opinion)
option 2- tracing can also help, ok!
option 3- hmm, sometimes your hand can slip or accidently move whilst you are making lines/writing and can be quite confusing....
option 4- not a bad idea but sometimes also very confusing and if it's too big/small there is no space for hanging/tall letters.
option 5- not a bad idea and also very clear about the instructions. it's very important to make sure it's dry so it doesn't get all smudged around the paper.
WITHOUT ANY TOOLS:
option 1- eh, not so sure.. it can look weird and it might be a bit messy if the writing is too big and it can cause other problems so in my opinion I don't recommend it.
option 2- ok, in my opinion it doesn't really help writing straight on a blank piece of paper.
option 3- the example defo made it look a lot more useful but also not too sure it can also be very confusing and it can't always be straight if you tilt the papers.
