I recommend truck to be placed before your ladder. Protection from cars. I am amazed you only use a hook on the strand. We use a belt with loop on each side of ladder & in the middle.
It’s pretty durable while protected. Once stripped back to raw fibre. It’s as strong as you’d imagine a hair of glass to be 😅. Some smaller micron fibre is a lot more flexible.
@@user-tu9sc6mi6c yeah I know a guy that worked for bell and he still does it that way. I understand it’s “much” safer but it also takes 2x longer to get setup.

Nope, and I didn’t do that here. All those other cables are different providers
you dont wear safety belt on the ladder
Nope just harness I& lanyard. I have different gear when I climb the poles
