You do clean work! Good quality work considering its always imperfect conditions. I like that you're not worried about fixing things you come across that are obviously incorrect.

We need installers like you with Verizon in Northern Virginia area. Installers here does not (probably don't even know how) cut pre-terminated fiber optic cables. They will just get a long fiber optic cable and roll up remaining cables. If it is just a little bit of service loop, I would understand. However, my sister's home has about 50 ft of extra aerial drop fiber optics rolled in the back of large old obsolete ONT box (which is used as splice point only now). This was installation from previous owner, so I asked installer to remove the box and replace with new smaller splice box, but the installer declined saying he cannot do that.
Also, when FiOS installer came to my customer's house (I'm a remodel contractor), I asked installer to run fiber optic to unused phone jack on the wall, which was couple of feet below grade. This installer just drilled right through the drywall right above the phone jack saying he cannot pull fiber in the wall. Asked why not fish cable, his answer was he is not allowed.. Not sure if that is true or not, but he did not have any tools to fish cable anyway. I used 12 AWG wire I had laying around to fish cable for him.. then patch the hole and paint again. :(

A lot of installers get a away with doing the bare minimum. Most of the time it’s due to their pay structure. they don’t get properly compensated for all the time they put into doing a good job, up to customer specs.
It can be hard to blame them when that’s the case, but overall there does seem to be a lack of competent installers or ones who take pride in their work😅
I get comments about stuff like this from all over the world it seems 😬

Lol that old copper ready access terminal, i see those all the time in Ontario :D Such a pain in the ass to work in. In my area they would not approve of me running a drop that close to hydro, i would probably run it down the pole and dig it in to the house.
