Yes, using sufficient amounts of vaseline on your cod piece armour helps a lot, especially on those long missions.

I reject the notion that tabards are templar specific, paint it tartan for a Gaelic feel or spend like half an hour with greenstuff to make them look like fur and it will fit really nicely into a sw army
I mean… DA use that too, right?
Tabards aren't templar specific, but tabards aren't a normal choice for space wolves; they are more trophies and pelts.
i really do hope we get chapter-specific upgrades for scout marines too! plus, these scout marines for the space wolves are actually the most veteran of the chapter.

Kinda surprised you didn't use the tabard as the basis to sculpt on some fur, but I suppose that might have looked too ostentatious for a Wolf Scout.
As for suggestion for future videos, I recently read the novel Angels of Darkness. In it, a Dark Angels Chaplain finds himself in a position where he has to reveal the existence of the Fallen to some other Dark Angels. Since that sort of makes them members of the Deathwing, they paint their armour bone white, along with some personal touches, such as one of them who covers his armour in scripture, and go hunting for some Fallen. Might look interesting.
OG 90s wolf scouts had pelts so not necessarily ostentatious at all.
If your a fan of third party kromlech do some nice hooded heads for marines.
Aside from that deathwing shields on blade guard, ornate swords from scribor.

Wouldn't mind seeing some Black Dragons conversions. Or maybe some Iron Warriors with mechanical bits (arms, eyes, legs).
Alternately, maybe some Chaos Orks (personally, I'd start with some Orruks to sub for Chaos Space Marines and some Brutes to sub for some Chaos Terminators). Would be neat to see how you'd tackle some Ork-based Possessed.
I wouldn't mind seeing some kitbashed Elder Exodites to proxy for regular Aeldari units.
Theirs a kitbash going around of new Ork torsos with neophyte hybrid (the genestealer ones) arms, could use greenstuff to make nasty flesh. to hide mistakes

I like the phobos but not as good as the scouts. Captain in scout armor would be better than captain in phobos armor. Such an iconic piece of Space marine lore. Hope GW finds a place for scouts for other chapters in the future!

How does he look next to the Raptors scout? The limited number of sculpts (thus far), plus only 4 in a box, leaves a lot of room for Sgt conversions made more like the Raptor IMO.

What a really cool but still simple scout! Seriously, it's so important to be able to paint your cool conversion really well because during this year I've been in this hobby I've sadly seen so many really cool conversions that were then painted badly, as in with way too thick paint or other such things
Still, I can't judge, I still have problems putting on decals even with using a setting solvent and I suck at battle damage, though I think I've gotten failry okay with making volumes. Still, doesn't mean much when I usually take something between 5-10 hours to paint a single Eradicator. Constantly watching videos to that is fun but it doesn't help either lmao

I just got a bottle of the Pro Acryl Black Brown primer, and do you thin it out as well as adding flow improver to it? I really like the color, but the first time I used it, I'm concerned I may have thinned it a bit too much and it was thinner than I wanted it to be.

I’ve noticed recently you’ve actually started using full pieces of green stuff rather than cutting around where the two colours meet
Yeah I do the same it never really seems to affect the mix and just feels like a waste
I think I’ve had crunchy bits in my green stuff maybe twice. Then again, I switched to the tubes, they’re individually wrapped. The tape is too expensive.
They are releasing a BT upgrade sprue so it won’t matter in a short amount of time
BT upgrade sprue isn't going to help you build SW Primaris scouts, or Primaris scouts from other chapters.

Remember to use heavy loads of vaseline when handling codpieces, lest it become sticky.
My only super tiny critique is the top knot looks a bit off because of the direction is facing. Other than that, looks awesome!
