I love how you don't just get a plastic power fist, but instead get stuff from the og model.
Id LOVE to see your vision of Malakim Phoros, the chapter master of the Lamenters. He has no official model so you can let your imagination run!
Nice idea, thanks for the suggestion. Might be an interesting one with the upcoming Blood Angels codex.
@@PeteTheWargamer I've been watching a bunch of 40k lore videos and I rather like the Lamenters, so I for one wouldn't mind seeing it!
@@PeteTheWargamer a primaris astorath / corbulo would be cool to see converted
I don’t know why but these older vids are so calming
Fantastic work. Might we see a primaris He'stan next? His model was one of the first I ever painted so seeing an updated version would be amazing.
would love to see some of the space wolves characters. Lukas the Trickster and Harald Deathwolf would be great.
Harald Deathwolf would be awesome! Im making my own primaris thunderwolf cavalry, with the primaris running/fighting dismounted next to the wolf, you can make Harald Deathwolf that way
I think a series of “cost-saving conversions” where you convert old mini’s into an updated form of themselves would be cool
Edit : I’m stupid and forgot 1/2 of the sentence
It’s always nice to hear lieutenant pronounced properly. Even here in Canada the Americanized lootenant is more commonto hear unless you’re around people who have military involvement
Would love to see a chaos boy get some love, some of them really suck, Lucius or Huron would be an interesting challenge I think
Lucius would be fun! I'm interested to see how big the new Sigvald mini is.
Or for a relatively less known NL CSM character why not Talos Valcoran, the Soul Hunter, or his successor, Decimus, the current Prophet of the 8th Legion.
You're a kitbashing wizard. Any chance of a Cadian Veteran conversion?
Pedro! Hell yeah hermano!
Also, this one was different
I had a terrible day today but I got the notification for this and knew I could relax and watch this when I was done. You did not disappoint :)
please do vulkan he'stan of the salamanders
Always been one of my favorite characters - the Crimson Fists are legends. Very well done! Finecast is finally going to good use.
Perfect timing! Will watch this as I eat dinner in an hour! Your videos a so nice and calming.
I was looking forward to this and it didn't disappoint. I did mine not long ago and used some green stuff and optical illusion in the posing (to put it in a fancy way really I just adjusted the way the arms are) so I could use both of his fists as they come (almost) as the cutting you did here was beyond my level (and available tools). Great job as always.
Would love to see you kitbash lucius the eternal! Amazing work as always dude
Such a nice little conversion and the paint job is superb!
Not that I don’t like you’re conversion videos because they’re awesome and what keeps me coming back. But after seeing that fantastic base I’d love to see some basing videos.
I'd love to see a series on the fine cast necron characters. I've been wanting to use the Sautekh trio and have intended to turn to kitbashing as a result.
Much better than the previous one! Bravo.
The first video beginners should watch is that their minis can be cleaned no matter how they can ruined them with a bad paint job.
Great work on Kantor! I hope one day you kitbash Lucius the Eternal.
Such a great pose/paint job. Love it.
Primaris marines look so much better with the Aquilla pattern helmets.
the mini covered in paint blitser looks pretty funny
The love to detail is still incredible
I am glad you finally did Sir Kantor, he is pretty great.
Love the finished model💜
Thanks for this, looks incredible!
Nice job, I’d love to see your take on a primaris upgrade to some older space wolves characters like Arjac Rockfist or Njal Stormcaller or something really ambitious like a redemptor dteadnaught conversion for Murderfang or Bjorn the fel handed.
Could we see an asmodia or azreal conversion?
Amazing work as always good sir
Thank to your videos i started with kitbashing myself my blood angel characters to primaris scale. I just made dante, almost following you and astorah based on a judiciar with ork axe and scourges wings. Yes. The ones that are actually hands
looks great! also, paint blitzer, going to have to try that in a future. Was nice to see the results
Wow, you did a great job!
Very nice conversion! I would love to see how you made the base, especially the proccess of making the crystals.
These videos have been pretty sweet, I've gone and purchased the judicaer and indomitus captain to build my own emps champion and Gabriel Angelos.
Lovely work
Pedro Kantor is my favorite Chapter Master
Excellent Work
The conversion is good, personally I like it when several materials are successfully combined.
But on Pedro's old backpack there were magazines from which his bolter was fed with ammunition belt. And now it looks like his faith in the Emperor is so strong that the bullets are coming straight from his armpit.
And it's a bit of a pity that the old cable from the power fist was cut off.
Pete, love to see a the Prime of the Minotaurs or Sons of Medusa conversion as there's some great resin casts out there
Yay! Crimson Fists!
edit: May I suggest 95° alcohol for stripping your plastic minis? Really cheap & really effective =)
edit²: A dremel tool (or a cheap knockoff nail drill) could be really usefull too.
Hmm, I feel like there's something missing from this conversion. Maybe it's because the left shoulder pad is so empty?
Still a great job though!
For the next project (when you feel like working with finecast again) maybe you can tackle vulkan he'stan? I'd really like to see a primaris verison of him that's a bit less cluttered. Maybe with the cape from the dark elves corsairs or something?
A primaris version of gabriel seth would be amazing. His models is resin and hard to find.
To strip any mini metal or plastic use methalated spirit it wont harm either or soften them at all. It removes acrylic paint with just a 10 min dip and an old toothbrush to scrub cairfully. Then just wash it clean with a little water and dishsoap and your ready to reprime and paint. Pluss its super cheap and is the main ingrediant in most of these expensive mini paint strippers
Amazing model bud.
Lovely conversion. Whilst doing special characters thst are ork fighters (Black Templars, Crimson Fists) would be great to see a updated Comissar Yarik kitbash
A small list of great heroes of the Imperium: Grimaldus, Azrael, Sicarius, Dante, Hyperion, and last but not least... Pedro!
The model looks great on the best conversions ever seen also where can you find that paint remover in the us.? I simply the best job I've ever seen
i cant wait to see what you do with the bits from the new multi part assualt intercessors kit i would like to see a lamenters chapter master.
Such a nice idea! I would've most likely just slightly changed Calgar and painted him up differently, as he's using Power-Fists with guns on them, too 😅
I was told by a GW employee that the old models were never in the right proportion when it came to their limbs, body and head, which shows considering that their arms often reach their knees and their heads are the same size(top to bottom) as their torso's. It looked fine when i put my fine cast noise marine arms onto the new cast of chaos space marines😊
It's why I stay away from first born marines now other than to raid components from them. Their proportions are just incredibly odd. Deathwatch are better though, I believe they were the last firstborn kits released before Primaris.
@@PeteTheWargamer same here💜 although the main reason for me is that i prefer my Astartes to at least be taller than mere mortals🤭
DUUUUUDDDDEEEE!!!!! THIS IS SO AWESOME!!!!!
It'll be really cool to see some conversions from the book Belesarius Cawl: The great work! Perhaps Decimus Felix, Thrasius or even alpha primus?
Ah yeah! I’m this one I really wanted to see!
PEDRO PEDRO PEDRO PEDRO PEDRO LOVE THE RED FISTER
PRAISE BITZBOX OUR LORD AND SAVIOR
How about a truescale conversion of any of the Grey Knight Characters? Either an Assault Intercessor or a Bladeguard Veteran base for a Castellan Crowe conversion and a hybrid armor mix of Gravis and Terminator armor for a Kaldor Draigo conversion, even though he currently resides in the warp?
Yeh I think truescale is the way to go with Grey Knights. Having not seem them with Primaris so far, I don't think Primaris Grey Knights would make much sense lore wise.
Do you think you could do a tutorial on the British infantry for bolt action. I need some help with paint
Really hope they do an official Pedro Kantor or Cortez model in the future. The Crimson Fists are are cool chapter with old school pedigree. They almost make reconsider having chosen Templars. But only almost. Looking forward to the painting video!
Cheeky post-brown-nosing Primaris Grimaldus suggestion from me! Especially because I find the current Primaris Chaplains to be merely "okay".
I would love to see Azriel he’s really cool and a absolute bad ass
Mi favourite chapter and its glorious last stand
That base is awesome (as is Pedro!), you think you could do a basing tutorial for something like that? Lol
It looks like cut up sprues for the crystals i think?...i might be wrong. I think the rock it quark board.
azrael, valdor or lysander next, this is awesome i love kantor
I'd like a Darnath Lysander personally.
Also are GW phasing out power fists? It doesnt seem they have any for the Primaris. Besides the boltstorm gauntlet I guess.
I am once again, asking for your take on a new Tyberos the red wake model/just decently sized terminators!
Where did gou get that tiny saw you used to saw of the components?
Suggestion: Captain Tycho or chaplain Lamartes.
a primaris corbulo or tycho would be awesome!
still with the long drill on your pin vice, move that drill more in the vice, that way it will not snapp as easy and you get a better precision :)
that moment when you remember that modal from about 3 years ago.
Look into various products such as Super Sculpy or CosClay for making flexible sash / pennant type bits...can't imagine sawing all that plastic away to create needed parts..dedicated...to say the least...
was that paint blitz or something else? i'm thinking of removing a base coat i sprayed to try again. or would ipa work just as fine here in the us?
Great work, you should do a supreme grandmaster Azrael conversion
thank you for including the resin warning , it's one of the few hobby products in our hobby that can be dangerous to our health .
Is this just when you're cutting it or otherwise manipulating it? It's not dangerous just to have intact resin bits right?
"vote for me and all your wildest dreams will come true"- Pedro
How much you wanna make a bet I can throw a football over them mountains?
Is the paint remover able to be put back into the bottle for reuse or is it one use only in the cup? How many times can you reuse the remover if you can put it back in the bottle?
You can use it again but the active ingredients will be used up as they strip the paint so it will be less effective.
Hey mate, I was wondering what modelling saw you use for this build?
You can more easily cut their finecast resin by firstly immersing it in boiling water.
Just slice with the hobby knife easy and cleanly and no resin dust
So what would the rules be for red marked armor
AK interactive paint stripper is the best there is. Use that next time.
could you try converting a custodian vertus preator into a primaris ravenwing jetbiker (like a primaris sammael)?
@@PeteTheWargamer Would love to see a pro's take on that, i tried my luck with the outriders and the vertus praetors and unfourtunately mutilated them in the process xD
Would u recommend the paint remover for maybe some patch stuff I have a decent amount of models I want to strip the paint on since I did a crop job
Definitely, a bottle should allow you to do about 40 infantry models according to their website.
@@PeteTheWargamer sweet also can it get semi thick paint off i got a redemptor that has some thick paint on the body
@@jacobheller3146 I would say so, you might need to apply a second coat after you've cleaned it though if it doesn't quite make it all the way through the first time
"Wore a mask while working with resin-"
uhh
wut
omg, am I gonna die, haha?
Now,Kantor is moved into 'last chance to buy' in GW web, maybe a Primaris Pedro Kantor will come at last.
This might be the most plain looking result of a very involved conversion I have seen so far. In other words: start converting Orks, ya git!
@@PeteTheWargamer Don't get me wrong. This is a great conversion and a great model, but ... compared to the last marines you did ... well, the character has a pretty standard design tbh.
Please make an updated Red Terror, it would be really cool to see you tackle something more organic
Did you try to add the Ammo to the back pack?
Really curious what tools he's using. Brand specifically.
Does the paint stripper work better than LA Totally Awesome? Second question, does LA totally awesome soften or damage plastic?
Unfortunately I couldn't comment as I've never used the product myself
I would like to see you attempt to make a thunder warrior I think you would enjoy a change of pace
I've been thinking about that one for a while, I just haven't got the right idea yet.
Seeing you do azreal would be cool
It always got me how in a universe full of names like Azrael, Sanguinius, Kor'sarro, Constantin, Mephisto etc there's a turbo-dude kicking around called Pedro
Aint that the truth lol. The last name really isn't bad as it's a mispelled word for male singer. But Pedro? Hell I would've preferred Pedra or Piedra (Rock/stone), like I'm okay mispelling things here lol
@@c3ramics Still Pedro fits more the setting than Peter... Still as a South American, I do believe we need more Spanish/Portuguese names.
@@flaviomonteiro1414 surprise... is a name from Spain
He's been around since the rogue trader days. A true hero if the imperium
Don’t forget his friend, Allesio Cortez, who fucking beat an Ork Warboss to death with his own ripped off arm, then made a pun
