The car needs a bit of work doing, some jobs are worse than others, in this video I tackle the problems I've found including suspension faults!

New wheels are definitely an improvement, but you can't beat the original 1.9 wheels (but I guess they would not clear the brembos).

Enjoy the road tests Paul! Keep 'em up. Sounds like a properly sorted motor that wouldn't be too tragic as an almost daily driver with power steering and windows etc.

I used to fit sunroofs back in the day, remember one guy cut out a large hole and it was a medium sunroof and fell straight through onto the seats🤣

I'm going to have to check the seats on my 205 now you've pointed out those little plastic bungs. One thing that car lacked was the front driving lights, it would have good to have those installed.
I forgot to say there’s some body coloured covers to go on them, there being painted at the moment 👍

Have you got your own routine when you do the PDI or do you just go through it like a mot and keep an eye out for anything else broken along the way?
It wants its wheels back. They're best stock, apart from the stock problem of stalling under hard braking.

I don’t think I’d have swapped back the the old front springs as the dampers aren’t designed for a different spring rate ……

This is the ideal 205 setup with the XU10J4, what a weapon.
Respect for the vlog 🙏...but hey, these 🚗 car's are 🐕 doo dar.. (massively)...had a 309.g.t.i. back in the day...fookin hell, never again....look good, pure nightmare.....got shut super quick....bought an astra G.T.E..now then sir, we're talking.....respect
This highlights buying used modified cars, so many small issues with that due to poor build/not got a clue what they were doing. You never know what chimp has put it together. Finally sorted now though.

GTI6 block is a sensational choice for this chassis. 233hp! brilliant. Thank you to the owner for not shredding a 405 mi16 apart just for the engine and killing what is a great car.
