      I dont think they City will either but who knows. Hes the heart of our Squad we dont win when he dont play. Its more important to get rid of the players that cant get in the team. Like Targett Gillespie Krafth and the misfits like Almiron and Wilson and maybe Longstaff.

    Nobody wants Bruno to go, but if he did that 100m equates to 500m of FFP spending, that would transform our team, the owners would spend it well.
    If City want to activate the clause, then it is down to Bruno to decide his future. One thing that could put him off joining City is if Pep is leaving in a year.
    Dan Ashworth is committing career suicide, only Man United want him, and even they won't pay for him, he will be left with no club at the end of this, because Manure will move on.

      Exactly this. If he goes, you can guarantee we’ll go on a spree to make up for it. Plus, I think with Tonali here (and providing he lives up to his reputation), he might not be as big a miss as we first think. 🤷🏻‍♂️. Just saying.

      Point was always going to be , Bruno would be missing from the opening of the window to the specific date , 30th June when to £100m chance ends , very, very, little chance of them getting to talk to him , after that, from 1st July, it's back in our hands to control it all, not the agents!

  • @hartshaped
    @hartshaped Před 9 dny

    Would be very surprised if it happened
    1. City are trying to offload players first before recruiting and the two players being linked with being allowed to go are De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva (both who are currently at their training camps for the Euros) so they aren’t likely to be leaving until mid July (past the release clause cut off)
    2. Bruno has joined up with the Brazil squad and the Copa America starts next week
    In other words they’d need to complete a deal within a week and stump up the cash before they 100% know they are able to sell their players
    It just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense but then media speculation rarely does lately

    The problem Matty is the fact we leave him on gardening leave and don't take action. If he is working in the background, the only thing we should be doing is building a lawsuit or else we will never be taken seriously as a top 6 club. Unfortunately, with the FFP rules we need to bully back to bring ourselves forward. If Tonali, Toney are banned for a year for betting, and Paqueta possibly getting a lifetime ban for fixing a few yellow cards, then what's the punishment for Man U????? Having Newcastle and Man City directors secretly working for them while we pay wages for it, then all of a sudden players like Olise go to Man U instead. Fuck that, sue, points deduction! Sell your stake in the club

    Newcastle haven't asked for 20mill, just a decent price and because dirty Dan told them what we paid for him (what he's not supposed to do) they are holding out and offering 3mill, and as for Bruno I can't see him leaving especially with what is going on at city and I think a lot of players will be thinking twice with talks of relegation unless they put relegation released clauses in their contracts, but citys FFP amount is 500mill so they are one of very few clubs that could afford him.

  • @stevepearce1913

    As Bruno is a devout Christian he will have a sense of honour and a deep commitment to upholding his contractual obligations. Also would he really want to join a club that could be relegated to League One and lose key players and perhaps even their manager? On the other hand 500 million in the bank from a 100 million sale could transform our club beyond recognition. No Player is bigger than the club as a whole and his loss would perhaps not be so bad considering that we would be free to replace him with an even better player. It's up to him and if he goes it's not the end of the world!

    Why would any player want to sign for city with 115 charges coming witch could result in them getting relegated to a lower leauge. Brunos going no way

    Why would Bruno go to city and let them ruin his career just like they did with Kalvin Phillips. He will sit on the bench and Maybe play in the Carabo Cup.

    I’d be surprised if any big players go to City until these 115 charges have been heard. If found guilty they’ll probably be relegated… Can you imagine you sign for City and next year you’re playing against Plymouth away on a Tuesday night…. Also Pep’s going next season….

    Man city will activate clause but he wont go because no one knows what punishment they will get they could be relegated you think any player will go on the possibility of playing in championship we know man city are taking premier league to court so they will punish man city for doing that .

  • @Brian-ov7yn
    @Brian-ov7yn Před 9 dny

    If Man City do activate the clause, someone wants to remind Bruno Pep might leave next summer.
    But if PSG activated it he needs to remember it’s like joining Celtic in a poor league. He came from that league and others have left.
    And regarding Assworth, Man Utd should be sued for illegal approach, unsettling an employee of the club .
    God knows what else Assworth has told Man Utd?
    At the end of the day the Rat says he’s not going to pay silly money for someone he’s already declared as a top talent in his field.
    So much so Man Utd WANT him?
    Then in the next breath they want him for nothing!
    Surely it’s an open and closed case and we should be going to the FA and Premier league at the very least.

    If people believed everything they read on the cesspool that is Twitter, then Isak would’ve been gone long ago, Joelinton had played his last game in black & white and Calvert Lewin his on his way to SJP?!
